What God Made
Flowers and trees, the sun way up high, fish in the ocean, birds that can fly!
All kinds of creatures, big ones and small, with Adam and Eve taking care of it all!
Look outside. Point to the things God made.
Noah’s Ark
“Build a BIG boat,” God said to Noah. “Take your family and two of every animal into the boat.” Noah obeyed God.
When rain came for forty days and nights, God kept Noah and the animals safe! Can you roar like a lion? Squeal like a pig? Baa like a lamb?
Baby Moses
Splish! Splash! A princess went down to the river for a bath.
She saw a basket in the tall grass. A baby was inside! The princess named the baby Moses.
Pretend you’re the princess rocking the baby gently in your arms.
David the Shepherd
David loved his lambs. He never let them stray. God is our shepherd and guards us every day!
Be a little lamb. Crawl around on your hands and knees. Pretend to nibble some sweet green grass.
Daniel
Daniel prayed to God and not to men, and God kept Daniel safe in the lions’ den.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and strength. Deuteronomy 6:5
Clap your hands, all you people. Shout to God with joy. Psalms 47:1
Baby Jesus
Jesus, our Lord, was born long ago. Angels sang praises so shepherds would know.
God sent his Son from heaven above, to show us his goodness and everlasting love.
Can you sing “Happy Birthday” to Jesus?
Jesus at the Temple
When Jesus was only twelve years old, his worried parents couldn’t find him. He was in the temple, telling the teachers all about God!
Make your fingers “walk” to the temple.
Zacchaeus
Jesus loved Zacchaeus even when no one else did. Zacchaeus climbed a big tree to see Jesus better. “Let’s go to your house!” Jesus said.
Stretch tall like a tree. Wave your arms like the branches.
Jesus Stops a Storm
The wind was blowing. The waves were crashing! The storm was rocking the boat! Jesus’ friends were afraid.
Be the wind. Take a deep breath. Blow it out really hard.
“Be still!” Jesus told the waves. Then he told the wind, “Stop blowing!” The wind and waves listened to Jesus and the storm stopped!
Jesus Is Alive!
Jesus died for you and me upon the cross at Calvary.
God raised Jesus from the dead. “My Lord’s alive!” Mary said.
Give yourself a BIG hug – God loves you!
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me.” Mark 10:14
