Chapter One Jacqueline Montgomery moved back to Clifton, Montana, like a scalded cat, fast and under the cover of night. Thank God the renters had already moved out of her parent’s old house when they did, or she would have had nowhere to go. The nearly four hour drive from Billings had taken its toll. At two in the morning, there were very few cars on the road, but it had been a difficult drive just the same. Her hands shook so badly she dropped the key as she tried to unlock the door. Cursing, she picked it up, and used both hands to unlock it. You’re a fool for driving here in the middle of the night, much less in the condition you’re in, Jackie. You could have killed yourself, or worse, someone else. She returned to the car and dragged her suitcase out of the back of the Pathfinder and carried it in the house. She set the suitcase in her old bedroom. There was no furniture, but she would make do. The fact that the electricity was still on was a godsend. She made one more trip to the car and carried in the comforter and blankets she’d brought with her, knowing she would have to sleep on the floor. Serves you right for thinking you could make it in high society. You’re not a social butterfly. You’re a small-town girl who knows more about horses and cattle than which fork to use with your salad.

Jackie brushed aside her tears in frustration. It was no use crying about it now. She had made it home. Things were looking up. All she had to do was file for divorce, find a job, and get on with living. Which was easier said than done in a small town. There would be questioning glances and outright gossip the minute someone learned she was back in town—alone. She didn’t bother unpacking her suitcase. She would do that when she got up. For now, all she needed was something to sleep in. Making a pallet on the floor proved to be harder than she’d expected with shaking hands and tears in her eyes. She couldn’t help the flashbacks from earlier that evening. She’d come home early from a committee meeting that night with a headache and found her husband in bed with one of her so-called friends. That had been shocking enough, but it was the fight afterward that had sealed the deal. She might have worked at saving their marriage if he’d acted the least bit remorseful, but he acted the injured party. “Fucking you is like fucking a cold fish. You’re about as sexy as one of those cows where you came from. I should have known better than to think you could fit in here. All you’ve done is embarrass me.” “You’ve spent all your time at the office, or so I thought, instead of helping me to adjust and learn how to be the wife you expected me to be. You’re nothing more than a cheating bastard.” She’d picked up the wineglass from the coffee table left over from her husband’s little romantic evening and threw it all over him. He backhanded her, causing her to fall and hit her head on the table. It was the last straw. She’d be damned if she would stay after that. She’d packed her bag right then and there and grabbed what she wanted before leaving to head home. He hadn’t so much as blinked an eye when she’d walked past him. Jackie sighed and settled on the blanket and pulled the comforter up to her chin. It wasn’t exactly cold in the house. She just felt cold inside. She dried her tears and told herself she’d shed the last one for

the son of a bitch she had married. She would be just fine without him now that she was back in Clifton. It had been six years, but there would be old friends here, she was sure. All she needed was a good night’s sleep and everything would look better in the morning. With that, she closed her eyes and willed herself to go to sleep. Less than twenty minutes later, there was a loud knock at the door. It startled her, and she screeched. Who would be knocking at this hour of the morning? Surely it wasn’t Stewart, her soon to be exhusband. She just couldn’t see him feeling remorse and chasing her all the way back to Clifton. The knock came again, louder than before. She got up and wrapped the comforter around her before trudging to the door in her makeshift robe. She’d left a light on in the hall so she could see her way around the house. At the front door, she looked through the peephole, but it was too dark to see. Turning on the porch light, Jackie opened the door a crack with the slide chain in place to see who it was. “Who is it?” she asked. “Jackie? Is that you?” The voice sounded familiar, but she couldn’t quite place it. “Who are you?” she asked again. “It’s Sam and Mitch Grayson from across the field.” Jackie sighed and closed the door so she could slide the chain off and open it all the way. She had known Sam and Mitch since grade school. They’d grown up together, and she’d been bad about following them around until she started high school. Then she’d developed a crush on not just one of them, but both of them, and knew that would never work. They both asked her out a dozen times, but she couldn’t choose one over the other, so she’d never gone out with either of them. “What are you doing here at this time of morning?” she asked as they stepped inside.

“Saw the light on over here and knew the Morrisons had already moved out. Thought we should investigate to be sure someone wasn’t squatting,” Sam told her. “I appreciate it, but it’s just me. I’m moving back.” “Hey, that’s great to hear,” Mitch said. “How did you manage to get your husband to move?” Jackie hesitated just a fraction of a second, but Sam picked up on it. “He’s not coming with you, is he?” Sam asked. “No, it’s just me. I’m getting a divorce.” Mitch turned on the light in the living room and cursed. “Did that son of a bitch do that to you?” Sam turned her face to the light and winced. “Baby, you need some antibiotic salve on that cut.” “It’s fine. I’ll get something for it tomorrow. I didn’t pack anything like that.” She pulled away from Sam and took a step back, pulling the comforter tighter around her. “Jackie? You know we’d never hurt you,” Sam said softly. “I know. Look, it was a long drive, and I really need some sleep. Maybe we could talk another time.” “Of course. You know where we are if you need anything, anything at all.” Sam told her. Mitch stood back with a grim look on his face, his lips in a fine line. “Thanks. I appreciate it. I’ll be fine.” She walked over to the door and held it open for them to leave. “Night, Jackie,” Sam said, and the two of them walked out on the porch. “Lock up, Jackie,” Mitch reminded her. She nodded and closed the door, setting all the locks before waddling back into the bedroom. Only now she wasn’t sure she’d be able to get any sleep. Mitch and Sam hadn’t changed much, if at all. Sam, the oldest by several minutes, looked just like Mitch, with the

exception of a scar at the edge of his left eye. As a teenager he’d been thrown by a horse and had to have twelve stitches. Both men were tall at six feet five inches with unruly black hair that they kept just brushing the collars on their shirts. Broad shoulders with wide chests that tapered down to narrow waists was enough to make any woman drool over them. They both had a tight ass she would love to sink her teeth into. She loved Sam’s playful attitude and easygoing nature. He had more creases around his eyes and at the corners of his mouth from smiling than Mitch. Mitch was the more serious of the two. Though the youngest, he tended to be the more responsible one when they were growing up. Still, she could count on either one of them to always be there if she needed them. She just hadn’t been able to date them. Instead of making it awkward for turning them down, they’d become great friends. She had missed them while living in Billings. They lived next door, so to speak, since next door tended to be about three miles on the other side of the field separating their homes. When she had gotten married, they had been at the wedding, but it was obvious from the beginning they hadn’t approved of her choice in mates. Jackie had met Stewart while away at college. They’d seemed perfect for each other. He’d been so laid back in college, only to change once they were married and living in Billings. Too bad she hadn’t noticed the gradual change sooner. Once she had, she felt that she had to make it work. Not anymore, though. She was through with him. She tossed and turned trying to get comfortable once again, but her thoughts kept returning to Sam and Mitch and how things had been when they were younger. Eventually, she fell into a dreamless sleep. ****

“I can’t believe she’s back home,” Sam said under his breath. “Did you see the damn bruise on her face?” Mitch asked. “Yeah. She’s well rid of him. I hope he comes here looking for her. I’ll show him what it means when you hit a woman.” Sam looked out his window at the fence posts as they passed by. Mitch’s grip on the steering wheel turned his knuckles white. He didn’t know if he would wait for the asshole to show up or not. He just might go hunting him. No one hurt their Jackie and got away with it. They’d been watching out for her since grade school. “Mitch. Do you think we stand a chance with her now?” Sam asked. “I don’t know, Sam. She’s been through a trauma of some sort. We can’t just jump on her to go out with us.” “I know. Still, if we play our cards right…” He trailed off. “Maybe. For now, she needs a friend, and someone to help her set up house again. I say we don’t push her.” Mitch turned down their drive. He wondered if she had changed much in the six years since they’d last seen her. She still had the most beautiful auburn hair that reached to her shoulders and curled around her face. Her wide, green eyes seemed to look right through you. It had been hard to tell with the comforter wrapped around her like it was, but he would bet his truck that she was still the same curvy beauty she’d been when she left. At five feet six inches, she had been just right for them. He’d loved watching her ass twitch when she was in a snit, and had been bad about riling her up just to watch her walk away. “Damn, I’m glad she’s back.” Sam climbed out of the truck and walked up to the porch. “I’m glad we were checking on the horses so that we saw the lights on over there.” Mitch looked across the wide open field and could barely make out the front porch light she’d left on by mistake.

“It’s going to be hard being around her without letting her know how we feel about her. Hell, all she’d have to do is look at my jeans and see my cock imprinted on the front. I always did stay hard around her.” Sam adjusted his jeans then opened the door and walked inside. “You coming?” “In a minute.” He wanted to think for a while. He doubted he would sleep anyway. Not without dreaming about her. What had that son of a bitch done to her and why? He could never understand how a man could hurt a woman in the first place. There was nothing they could do that warranted hitting one. You walked away and calmed down. His parents had taught both of them to respect women. He had never gotten over her. Sure, he and Sam had dated plenty of women and even contemplated marriage, but no one could measure up to Jackie. They knew what had happened during high school. She hadn’t wanted to pick between them. As kids, they couldn’t very well both date her, but as adults, it was a different story. He and Sam had known since high school that they would share a woman as their wife. His mom had been raised in a family with two fathers and her mother. He could still remember going to visit his grandparents at their farm on many a weekend and at least one week out of the summer. They’d been very happy. He still missed them. They had grown up in a traditional home, but he and Sam shared a closeness as twins that seemed even more so than other twins. They’d discussed many times growing up their plans to share their wife. All they had needed was for Jackie to grow up and come home from college to them. Unfortunately, she’d met her husband there, and didn’t come home to them. It had hurt, but they hadn’t been able to do anything about it. Now they could, but once again, they would have to wait until she’d gotten past her divorce. Only this time, they weren’t going to give anyone else a chance to woo her out from under them. They

would make themselves indispensible to her, and slowly ease her into feeling comfortable around both of them at the same time. Mitch looked out over the field one more time at the tiny light representing a new chance for them. When they’d driven over there to investigate, they had never dreamed it would be to find their Jackie moving back. Mitch smiled and turned to go inside. He would try to get a few hours of sleep. Then they would start their campaign to win Jackie as their wife.

Chapter Two The sound of birds singing woke Jackie earlier than she would have liked, but there was no use trying to get back to sleep. Besides, she had a lot to do today. First on the agenda was to locate a lawyer and file for divorce. Second was to look into possible jobs and then see about buying a few pieces of furniture, namely a bed. An hour later, she had showered and dressed in jeans and a Tshirt. Sure, they were designer jeans, but this was home, and no one expected you to dress up unless you were going to church, a wedding, or a funeral. It felt good to be home. The trip into town took all of fifteen minutes. She headed straight to the only lawyer she knew in town, James Tidwell. He had practiced law in Clifton for as long as she could remember. She pulled in front of his office and drew in a deep breath. This was it. She was going to put an end to her marriage. She got out of the car and walked into the building expecting to see Madge at the front desk. Instead, it was someone she didn’t know. “Can I help you?” “Um, yes, I wanted to see Mr. Tidwell about some business. The secretary looked knowingly at her, and Jackie realized her bruises would be visible despite the makeup. She could feel the heat race up her neck and into her face. “Do you have an appointment?” the lady asked. “No, I didn’t realize I needed one. I’ve been out of town for a few years, but you didn’t use to have to have one.” “Let me check if he can see you. What is your name?” she asked. “Jackie Montgomery. He knows me.”

“Hold on a minute.” She got up and walked toward the door behind her and, after a brief knock, walked in the office. A few seconds later she came back out and nodded at her. “He’ll see you now.” Jackie thanked her and walked to the door and went in. She was shocked to see James, Jr. instead of his father. “Jackie, it’s been a long time.” He walked around the desk and held out his hand to shake hers. “What can I do for you?” It was obvious he was ignoring the bruises on her face, so the secretary must have mentioned them. It unnerved her a little to talk to someone she’d gone to school with. Still, she didn’t really have a choice unless she wanted to go back to Billings and get a lawyer there. “I want to draw up divorce papers.” There, she’d said it. “I’m sorry to hear that,” he said with a frown. “Let’s sit down and talk.” He held out his hand to indicate the chair across from the desk. He returned to his chair and pulled out a legal pad and picked up his pen. “Tell me about it.” Jackie went over the basics of her ordeal. To his credit, he focused on his pad and didn’t look up while she was talking. “That’s about it,” she finished. “Okay, you have a valid and excellent case. What do you want out of the divorce?” “Nothing really. I just want out. He can have the house and the furniture. I want the rest of my clothes and personal things, is about it.” “You realize you could take him to the cleaners for not only adultery, but for striking you.” “I know, but I just want to put it all behind me and forget the mistake I made.” She licked her lips and swallowed. “I understand. I’ll draw up the papers. I’m going to put in them that he has to pay all court costs and your legal fees, as well as a small

allowance for one year. You will need it to set up your house and get through the next few months of looking for work.” “I guess that will be okay. I am going to need to find a job. Don’t suppose you know of anywhere hiring, do you?” “Not right off the bat, but I’ll check around for you.” James, Jr. smiled and stood up extending his hand across the desk. “Thank you for doing this for me, James. I appreciate your taking my case.” “I’m happy to do it. Do you need any money to get started with? I can lend it until you get yours from your ex.” “That is very kind of you, but I’m okay for right now. I had some money in savings I’m going to use.” “Just remember the offer is there should you need it.” He walked her to the door. “I will.” Jackie walked out and nodded at the receptionist as she passed her. That was one down on her list. Next up was locating a job. She walked across the street to the local newspaper and bought a paper out of the machine out front. She needed breakfast, so she walked down the street to the diner. She could look at the paper while she ate breakfast. When she walked into the diner, she recognized a couple of faces sitting at the various tables. She walked toward an empty table in the back and took a seat. Almost immediately a waitress walked over to take her order. “Watch you have, honey?” “Scrambled eggs, toast, coffee, and orange juice, please.” The waitress nodded and returned a few seconds later with a cup of coffee for her. Then she left her alone to her paper. She searched the want ads and circled a couple that sounded promising. She had a degree in business administration, so she could do most anything, businesswise.

Her breakfast arrived and she settled down to eat. She could feel the eyes of the various patrons on her and figured before it was over with someone would come up to ask how she was and ask what she was doing in town. “How are you doing this morning?” Sam stood in front of her across the table. “Mind if we join you for a cup of coffee?” Mitch asked. “Um, no. Not at all.” They took a seat on either side of her. The waitress brought them coffee and refilled Jackie’s cup as well. “What brings you to town this morning?” she asked. “Had to grab a few things. Saw your car and thought you might need some help with furniture or something while we were here to haul it home.” Mitch took a sip of his coffee. “That’s really nice of you, but I don’t want to put you out. I have a lot of errands to run and groceries to get.” “How ’bout you do your furniture shopping first, and we’ll drop it off at your house for you. You can give us the key, and we’ll put it somewhere for you. Just tell us where,” Sam said. “Really, that’s asking too much.” “Not at all. Soon as you finish your breakfast, we’ll go with you to pick out what you want.” She realized Mitch wasn’t taking no for an answer. “Okay, I figured I’d get a good mattress from the furniture store and buy a cheap chest of drawers from the secondhand store.” “You shouldn’t be buying cheap, secondhand anything, Jackie.” Mitch said. “If you need to borrow money, we can…” “No. I’m not borrowing from you. I have savings, but I don’t want to make any decisions on furniture right now. I want to decide how to fix the house first.” She hoped he would take that for an answer. “Okay, but you know the offer stands if you need anything,” Mitch said. “I know. Thanks.” She signaled for the bill, but Sam intervened.

“I’ve got it. Don’t bother arguing about it, either,” he said with a grin. “You two are something else.” She huffed out a breath and stood up. They followed her across to the furniture store, where she proceeded to test mattresses and finally picked out one with a bed frame. She didn’t need a headboard until she decided on how she wanted her bedroom to look. Mitch told the owner they’d be by to pick it up in a few minutes. Next, she walked across the street to the secondhand store hoping to find a used chest of drawers in good shape. After walking the entire store, she settled on one, as well as a barstool for the bar. She paid for her purchases and left the store to start looking for a job. Sam and Mitch promised to deliver her furniture and leave the key under the flower pot by the steps to the porch. She spent the next two hours talking with various businesses about her qualifications and link to the community. Her problem was she hadn’t worked since college. Stewart hadn’t wanted her to work after they got married. She never dreamed it would be a problem later down the road. With no recent work history, it would be difficult for her to get a job. One more worry to contend with. The grocery store proved to be another ordeal. She met several ladies she knew from before who wanted to know what she was doing back in Clifton, and was her husband with her. If she answered that she was getting a divorce once, she said it a dozen times. She finally gave up getting groceries and took what she had to the register to check out. As she left the store with her food, she noted the sign in the window that they were looking for a cashier. It wasn’t what she wanted to do, but if she couldn’t find anything else, it would work. Once she made it back home, she retrieved the key and unlocked the house. She unloaded her groceries and went to see about where they had put the furniture. She was right. They had put it in the master suite, her parents’ old room. She wasn’t sure how she felt about that
20

then chastised herself for worrying about it. Her parents had been gone for eight years now. It was time to make the house her home and let the past go. She sighed. She had a lot of past to put behind her. After unpacking her suitcase, Jackie set about deciding what she wanted to work on first. She decided the kitchen would be her first priority. The kitchen had the bar with her single barstool. There was a breakfast nook next to it. She needed to paint the entire area. She would see about getting paint samples the next time she was in town. Once she had the area painted, she would choose new furniture then go on to the next room. Her cell phone rang. She checked to see who it was and found it was one of the women she knew form the country club scene. She hesitated about answering but decided to see what she wanted. “Hello?” “Jackie? Is that you?” the other woman asked. “Yes, how are you, Valerie?” “I’m fine. I wanted to see how you were doing? Is there anything I can do to help you?” “My, news travels fast,” she said. “Well, Brenda wasn’t very discreet about the entire ordeal.” “So how long had you known about their little affair?” she asked. “Now, Jackie. I couldn’t very well tell you, now could I?” “Why not? I would have told you.” Jackie was getting angry now. Evidently everyone but her knew about it. “It just isn’t nice to tell your friend that her husband is having an affair with another friend. I mean, we all have to deal with each other at parties and social events.” Valerie seemed taken aback that Jackie would even think about telling someone. “Where are you, Jackie? Can I help you get settled into an apartment somewhere?” “No, thanks. I’m moving out of town. I don’t plan on coming back, either, so you’ll have to find someone else to chair the charity ball planning committee.” It felt good to say that.
Sweet Montana Home
21
“But, darling. You can’t just move away because of a divorce. That makes it look like you care,” Valerie said. “I did care. I expected him to keep his word in our marriage. He didn’t. I don’t see any reason to hang around somewhere I’m not wanted just to fuel the gossip. Thanks, but no thanks.” “I hate to see you allow this unfortunate event to mar your social life.” “This unfortunate event, as you call it, was my marriage going down the toilet. I think I’m better off where I am. I don’t see any reason to subject myself to the gossip. Thanks for checking on me, Valerie, but I really have to go. I need to see about finding a job now. Good-bye.” Jackie hung up and turned off her cell phone. She would turn it back on later. She set about cleaning the house from top to bottom, and was impressed that her renters had kept it fairly clean. When supper time came around, she had worked up an appetite, and fixed a salad and cheese toast. She managed to get down half of her meal. She was exhausted, and having not slept much the night before, Jackie decided to make it an early night. By the time she’d taken a shower and dressed for bed, she was nearly asleep on her feet. It took less than ten minutes for her fall into a deep sleep. Her last thoughts were about Mitch and Sam, and what they might be doing right then. Would they still be doing chores, or showering now? The idea of them being naked turned her on. Her nipples peaked and tingled, while her cunt grew wet with her juices. With that, she fell asleep. **** Sam stood in the shower thinking about how little Jackie had changed. She still had curves in all the right places. She’d lost a little weight, but they could put that back on her. She had no doubt thought
22
Marla Monroe
she needed to lose it to look like those anorexic socialites loosely called ladies. Jackie didn’t belong there. She never had. He thought about her lush breasts and how he’d spent many a night jacking off to thoughts of sucking on them. He was a breast man. His brother, Mitch was an ass man. Sam wanted more than anything to hold her breasts in his hands. The thought of stroking his dick between them as he held them together had his cock standing straight out. He grabbed hold of his swollen cock like he had many times before when thoughts of her had aroused him, and began a slow steady pull from base to tip and back down again. Pre-cum spilled from the slit at the top. He spread it around the mushroom cap and used it along with the water from the shower to lubricate his strokes. Water pounded against his back as he slowly increased the strength and length of his strokes, until he was tugging on his rigid cock hard and fast. He imagined her on her knees in front of him, her mouth open and ready for his cum. She would run her tongue around the cap then lick him like she would a delicious lollipop. He could almost feel her hot tongue running underneath his cock, and the feel of her hands on his balls. She would gently roll them in her hand. She might even lick them. He groaned at the thought and gripped his dick tighter as he pulled on it even faster. His balls grew heavy with his cum. It wasn’t long before he felt them burn as they contracted against his body to shoot his cum out of his dick. He shouted out her name as he shot his seed out onto the shower wall. Fuck, he needed her in his life. Despite the fact that he and Mitch had dated off and on over the last six years, he could never get her out of his mind. Now she was back, and the longing was even deeper. He knew Mitch felt the same way. They were twins and knew each other’s wants and needs like they were their own. Sam finished showering and climbed out to dry off. He wanted a beer before he settled down to another sleepless night. With her back

in town, he figured he would have a lot of them. Just the idea that she was all alone over in her house spurred his juices again. He cursed as he cock began to harden. He pulled on a pair of jeans and met Mitch in the kitchen pulling two beers out of the fridge. “Thanks.” He took the proffered beer and popped the top. “Going to be another long night,” Mitch said. They walked outside on the back porch to sit on the rockers and talk. They did a lot of their talking here at night. “Do you think she was telling the truth about redoing the house and wanting to decide before buying furniture?” Sam asked. “Hell, no. She’s saving money. The idea she even has to worry about working pisses me off. That bastard should be paying for her to live in luxury just for those bruises alone.” Sam nodded and took a long pull on the beer before glancing out over the field where her house would be. There wasn’t a single light on that he could tell. It would be pitch black except for the moon and the stars. “She needs a security light over there, Mitch. Not safe for her to live there alone without one.” “I agree. Then I don’t want her living over there long enough to need one.” Mitch sighed. “Like it or not, she’s going to be there for a little while anyway. She’s stubborn, our Jackie.” “The house needs a coat of paint and her barn needs some work. We need to offer our services to her so we can keep a close eye on her. Our hands can take care of the stock here for a while, and we’ll only be a few miles away.” Mitch turned up his beer. “We’ll go over there first thing in the morning before she has time to go anywhere,” Sam said. “Want to ride or drive?” Mitch asked. “Let’s ride and take Sassy with us. Maybe we can talk her into a ride first then drive her back over in the truck afterward. I bet she

hasn’t ridden since she’s been gone. She’s bound to miss it.” Sam stood up and stretched. “Sounds like a plan to me.” They said their good nights, and each returned to his own room. Sam passed by the master suite and hesitated for a few seconds, praying they would be using it together before too much longer. Once they had Jackie in their arms, they’d never letter her go.

Chapter Three Jackie poured a cup of coffee and took her first sip of the morning. She closed her eyes and drew in the scent of fresh-brewed coffee as she savored the taste going down. Then someone banged on the door and snapped her out of her self-imposed coffee fantasy. “Ah, hell. Can’t I even enjoy a few minutes of peace before people start coming over?” She stomped to the door and flung it open after disengaging the locks. Standing on her front porch were Sam and Mitch once again. Three horses were tied to the railing. Sassy, her favorite, was one of them. She’d sold Sassy to them when she’d gotten married, knowing they would give her a good home. She looked up from the horse to the two men standing their waiting on her. They each wore worn blue jeans that rode low on their hips, and sexy western shirts with snaps made for jerking apart. She shook her head. Where had that come from? “Sam, Mitch. How are y’all doing today?” “Doing good. Thought you might like to take a short ride on Sassy this morning. Figure you haven’t been on a horse since you left.” Mitch stuffed his hands in his jeans, drawing them tighter across the very noticeable bulge in front. “I’d love to, but I have so much to get done today.” She really wanted to go riding. “We figured you might could use some help around here for a few days until you got settled. We wanted to offer our able bodies, being neighborly and all,” Sam said.

“Um, why don’t you come in and have a cup of coffee.” She wasn’t sure how to handle their offer. On one hand, she didn’t want help from anyone. She wanted to be self-sufficient, but on the other hand, she was practical. There were some things she wasn’t going to be able to handle on her own, like refurbishing the barn. She wanted to buy Sassy back from them. She was sure they would sell her back to her. Both men took off their cowboy hats and hung them on the hooks by the front door. They’d been over at the house nearly as much as she’d been at their house over the years as they’d grown up. They were familiar with just about every inch of her property. “Coffee sounds great,” Mitch said, and made himself at home. He pulled out two Styrofoam coffee cups and poured his and Sam’s coffee. “So, what is first on your agenda to redo the house?” Sam asked. “I’m going to start with the kitchen and breakfast area. I’m going to repaint it a pale yellow, I think.” She sipped her cooling coffee and watched the two men as they prowled around the room. “Why don’t you let us work on the barn for you? It looks like it could use a few new boards and painting.” Mitch glanced up from his coffee to stare into her eyes. Jackie couldn’t pull her gaze from his. His black eyes always had mesmerized her. His serious attitude drew her to him like a moth to a flame. She knew she would get burned, but she couldn’t help it. Sam broke the trance with a sudden laugh.” We better get going on that ride. Sassy is munching on those flowers the Morrisons planted.” With a sigh, Jackie gave in. “Okay, but I need to change to boots. I’ll be right out.” She slipped from the kitchen to her bedroom and sat on the bed to pull on boots. It would be great to be in the saddle again. She’d missed riding, as well as Sassy with her funky attitude. You had to be

careful around her. You never knew if she would nuzzle your hand or bite your shoulder. She was a prankster of a horse. She locked up the house and immediately went to reacquaint herself with the horse. Sassy acted as if she had never left. She nodded her head up and down a few times when she sniffed of Jackie’s hand. “Come on and mount up. The day is getting past us,” Mitch said with a smile. She climbed up and settled herself in the saddle. It had been six years, but it felt like only yesterday since she had been on Sassy. She figured she would know the difference after a few hours of riding, though. A quick ride back to their ranch shouldn’t leave her too sore to work on the house, though, and it would be great to spend the time with Mitch and Sam, like old times. They walked down her drive then cut across the narrow strip of land not fenced in. They moved to an easy canter. The wind in her hair felt glorious to her. She followed Mitch with Sam behind her. They veered off to the left once they got past the fence instead of heading right toward their home. She started to say something but decided they wouldn’t waste a lot of time. Besides, she was enjoying her ride. It didn’t take long for her to recognize where they were heading. The old pond out behind their house had been a favorite spot of theirs over the years. They’d met there anytime something was wrong and needed sorting out. Most of their major problems in life had been discussed and solved on the banks of the pond. Maybe they felt like she needed it to do some sorting out in her life right now. Did she? They eased around the edge of the water and dismounted by the old tree where they tied off the horses to let them rest while they stretched out on the grass. No one said anything for a long time. Then Sam spoke up like always, starting the session. “Want to talk about it?” “About what?” she asked, knowing what they wanted.

“What happened in Billings that brought you back here?” Mitch tossed a rock into the pond. “There really isn’t anything to say. I’m getting a divorce and moving back home.” “We all know there’s more to it than that,” Sam said. She was silent for a long while as both Mitch and Sam skipped rocks across the pond. She sat up straight and wrapped her arms around her knees. Maybe talking about it here where all their other secrets had been spilled would help her get past it so she could get on with her life. She rested her chin on her knees. “I caught him in bed with one of my so-called friends.” “Bastard,” Sam said without looking at her. “Want us to beat him up for you?” Mitch asked as he threw yet another rock. This was what she’d liked about them and this spot. They didn’t make a big deal out of anything, just conversation. And, like always, they’d offered to beat up the offender. “No. He’s not worth it. I should have known, though.” She rubbed her chin on her knees. “We never did like him, but you were in love. Nothing we could have said would have changed a thing.” Mitch sat down next to her. “You’re right. I wouldn’t have heard a word you said if you had tried to talk me out of it. I can’t believe I was so stupid.” She looked up where Sam stood over her, blocking the sun from her face. “You were in love. Nothing stupid about it. He is the one who’s stupid. He had the best woman in the world, and screwed it up.” “Thanks, Sam. You’re good for my ego.” “Just saying what’s true. What man in his right mind would screw up a future with you?” “Sam.” Mitch spoke up. “Well, I’m going to work on my house and the barn and get a job. I have plenty to keep me busy, so I won’t be moping around any.
Sweet Montana Home

“We won’t let you mope, Jackie. You should know us better than that,” Mitch chastised “I know. You guys are the best. I missed you both so much while I was in Billings.” They looked at each other, and a silent understanding that they would always have each other as friends passed between them. But she picked up on something more, too. They looked at her in a way that sent a yearning in her blood. But they were off-limits. They were her best friends, and she couldn’t choose between them. The idea of not choosing, but taking both of them, flitted across her mind before she jumped up and brushed off the back of her jeans. “We should be going. I need to finish scrubbing down the walls in the kitchen so I can get paint and start painting,” Jackie said. Mitch and Sam nodded and walked over to where they’d tied the horses. All three of them mounted up and turned the horses toward Mitch and Sam’s house. It occurred to her that she hadn’t been there since their parents moved out. She wondered if they’d made any changes, or if it would look exactly the same. Being men, they probably barely cleaned the place, she thought with a smile. “What’s that pretty smile for?” Sam asked as he edged up next to her. “Thinking that I haven’t been to your house since your parents moved out. How are they anyway?” “Doing great. Love the retirement community they’re living in.” “That’s good. They were always good to me.” “They thought of you like a daughter,” Mitch told her. “You know my parents were good to me in their own way. They were just so much older when they had me that they didn’t know what to do with me.” “I know. Didn’t really understand it back then, I don’t guess,” Mitch said. They reached the barn and one of the hands came out to take over the horses.

“Do you mind if I groom Sassy?” she asked. “It’s been a long time, and I’d really like to.” Mitch and Sam looked at each other. Mitch shrugged. “She’s all yours, Jackie. Always will be. When you finish, come on inside for something to drink.” “I’ll—” Sam began. “Sam,” Mitch called out as he walked toward the house. “—see you in the house,” he finished. She watched them disappear inside the back door before she accepted the brush from the hand and began brushing Sassy down. She let the familiar rhythm of it take over as her thoughts flowed freely. They were still attracted to her. She could feel it in the air while they’d been at the pond. What did it mean for her? Was anything really any different than it had been? She was different. That was for sure. Besides being older, she was also wiser. She would like to think that she’d learned something from her experience. But what? Well, for one thing, love doesn’t last forever like you thought, Jackie. She finished up with Sassy and handed her over to the cowhand. She watched as he settled her into a stall before she turned and headed for the house. She hesitated to just go on in, but finally knocked on the back door. She didn’t feel comfortable barging into someone’s home no matter what they had said. Sam answered the door with a frown on his face. “Said you could just come on in.” “Sorry, I didn’t feel comfortable doing that.” “What would you like to drink? Coffee? Tea?” Mitch asked. “Coffee would be wonderful. Then I’ve got to get back to work.” “We’ll get you back over there as soon as we finish coffee.” Mitch poured a cup and handed it to her. Their fingers met and she nearly dropped the cup at the searing heat his touch caused. “You okay?” Sam asked with an odd expression on his face.

“Yeah, fine.” She sipped the coffee. “Coffee is good.” Sam sat next to her so that their thighs brushed. Jackie had to swallow hard to keep from moaning at the feel of his hard, muscular thigh against hers. It wasn’t a skin to skin touch, but it tingled like one. What was going on with her? If she couldn’t control her reactions around them, she’d best move on somewhere else. They were neighbors, and she was sure they would see a lot of each other in the future. “You okay, Jackie? You look a little flushed.” Mitch stood up and walked over to where she was sitting next to Sam. “I’m fine. Probably the coffee. I gulped it when I should have sipped it.” She smiled and stood up. It put her standing within inches of Mitch’s body. She staggered back and would have fallen into Sam’s lap if Mitch hadn’t grabbed her around the waist and pulled her closer to him. The shock of their bodies touching from thighs to chest took her breath away. She looked up into his heavy-lidded eyes and recognized the desire there because she was feeling the same thing. God, this couldn’t be happening. “Are you sure you need to be working on your house today? Maybe you need another day to recuperate.” This came from Sam, who was now standing at her back. Their combined heat had sweat beading at her brow and across her upper lip. Mitch took the coffee cup from her shaking hands and sat it on the bar next to them. Then he reached around and drew her closer by the nape of her neck with his hand. He bent down and kissed her. Lips touched as he rubbed them gently over hers before licking along the crease. She shivered all over, but opened to him. His tongue immediately entered her mouth to explore. It twined with hers then licked beneath it, eliciting a moan from her. Sam’s hands rubbed up and down her arms, and she realized she’d wrapped them around Mitch’s neck. When had that happened? She could feel the outline of Sam’s hard cock pressed against her ass and
32

the hardness of Mitch’s dick against her pelvis. Sandwiched between them as she was, she had nowhere to go and nowhere she would rather be right then. During those few seconds, she felt safe and wanted. Even as Sam brushed aside her hair and licked at her neck, the ringing of a cell phone interrupted their explorations. Everyone froze. Aw, fuck,” Mitch said, and pulled back to answer his phone. Sam didn’t let go of her, though, and continued to lick and nibble along her shoulder and neck. It wasn’t until he heard Mitch’s cursing that he stopped to see what was going on. “How did that happen? I expect for you guys to keep them in that pasture and keep them away from the damn mud hole. We’ll be out in a few minutes to help haul them out.” Mitch slammed his phone back in his pocket and huffed out a breath. “I’m sorry, Jackie, but we need to get you on home. The stupid idiots out in the west field managed to lose several of the cows into the mud hole and need help pulling them out.” “Fuck!” Sam grabbed his hat and stomped out of the kitchen ahead of them. “Jackie?” He looked deep into her eyes. “This isn’t over.” “Yes it is. It should never have started, Mitch. Nothing’s changed.” “A hell of a lot more than you know has changed.” He gently pushed her toward the door and followed her to the truck. Nothing was said on the way back to her house. They let her out and promised to get back to her later that evening. She just nodded and waited until they were gone before she ran into the house and started scrubbing walls as if her life depended on it. How could she have allowed that to happen? Again. Why were they playing with her like this? She couldn’t date both of them. What would the townspeople say? She was already the topic of conversation and gossip since she’d moved back and filed for divorce all in the same day. She didn’t plan on being at home when they tried

to contact her. As soon as she finished washing down the walls and cabinets, she was going back to town to match paint samples and check on when her paperwork for the divorce would be ready for her to sign. Three hours later, she sat in the diner eating her late lunch. She’d checked in on James, Jr. to see about her paperwork. He planned to have it ready the next day for her to sign. Then once she signed it, he would send it on its way. Just knowing that part was on schedule settled her nerves some. As soon as she finished her meal, Jackie headed over to the store to see about paint. She chose a buttercup yellow for the walls and a pale cream for the trim. She decided to sand the cabinet doors and refinish them herself. She could do them one at a time. It might take a few months to get the entire kitchen done once she started work, but it would be worth it, in the long run. She went ahead and picked out paint for the living room as well, and once she had all her purchases loaded in her car, she drove back home in a little better mood. It soon changed when she found Mitch and Sam’s truck in her driveway. They were nowhere to be seen. She pulled up and jumped out of the Pathfinder, intent on getting her paint and locking herself in the house. They emerged from the barn and beat her to the paint. She sighed and resigned herself to dealing with them after all. She really wasn’t strong enough to tell them no if they pressured her. She needed more time to shore up her defenses, which was probably why they hadn’t given it to her. “Let us take the supplies in for you. Have you had supper yet?” Mitch carried four cans of paint in one hand. She unlocked the door and led them into the living room where he continued into the kitchen and dropped off the paint. “Um, yeah. I had a late lunch in town.” “Would you like to sit with us while we eat? We still have to finish up in the barn first.

“In my barn? What are you doing?” She suddenly felt outraged that they’d done anything without clearing it with her first. “Come on out and see.” Sam sounded proud about it. She followed the men back outside to the barn and inside. She felt like a heel when she realized they had been replacing rotten wood in the stalls. What had she thought they would be doing, anyway? Jackie admitted to herself that she just wanted to be angry with them to keep them at arm’s length. She recognized that with them, she had no defenses. They didn’t give her time to create them. “It looks great. Thanks, guys. You shouldn’t have done all this when you’ve got things to do on your own ranch.” “We have ranch hands for that reason. So we don’t have to always be tied up. Usually anyway.” Mitch sounded tired. “Well, come on in. I’ll warm up some soup and make sandwiches. Not much, but it should at least get you home.” Jackie led the way back to the house. Once she got them inside, she wasn’t quite sure what she was going to do with them while she fixed them something to eat. They were bigger than she remembered, and sucked all the oxygen out of the air. When she turned to tell them to make themselves at home, she ran right into Sam. He steadied her but didn’t let go. Instead, he latched onto her mouth and demanded she open to him. What could she do?

Chapter Four When he teased her lips, she opened for him and relaxed into his arms as if she were giving in to his demands. He hadn’t really even made any yet. He sipped from her lips like a dying man sipping water from a spoon. Her hands went to his arms where she dug in as he strengthened the kiss. He sucked her tongue into his mouth where he teased it with his. She moaned into his mouth. Sam swallowed her moans and wrapped his hand in her hair to hold her head still for his assault. Then he pulled back and kissed the corners of her mouth. She felt Mitch behind her now and wondered when he’d moved. She’d lost time just from a kiss. He placed his hands on her shoulder and turned her around to him. Then he dipped his head and took control of her mouth. He kissed so much differently than Sam. He led and demanded she follow, while Sam led and tempted her to follow. With Mitch, she felt a little naughty, but with Sam, she felt comfortable. Mitch pulled back and looked deep in her eyes. “I told you this wasn’t over.” He leaned in and kissed her again. The sensual draw of his mouth on her tongue matched the thrust of his pelvis against hers. His massive cock bumped against her pelvis over and over. Sam’s stiff dick poked at her ass as he pulled her head back from Mitch’s kiss to suck on her neck. Then he moved lower, to her shoulder through her T-shirt. He bit down, and she moaned. God, she wanted them. What was wrong with her? She couldn’t want both of them. It just wasn’t right.

“We want you, Jackie. We’ve wanted you for ten damn years. Don’t make us wait any longer.” Mitch nibbled her earlobe then nipped her neck. “Both of you?” Her voice came out in a squeak. “Both of us. We both want you. Always have, Jackie.” Sam nibbled her jawline as he spoke against her skin. “But it’s not right.” “What’s right for us is all that matters. No one else matters. Are you still thinking like them snooty people you hung around with in Billings?” Mitch asked. “Why would you both want me? I’m not beautiful, or even pretty for that matter.” “You’re the most beautiful woman in the world. I don’t want to hear you talk like that about yourself again,” Mitch said with a growl to his voice. “You’re sexy as hell, and hot to boot,” Sam added in his easygoing way. “Let us love you, Jackie. You were made for loving.” Mitch dropped his hands to her hips and held her steady against his hard cock. “We’re friends. It will ruin our friendship. Besides, one of you will only get mad at the other one if we did this.” “Nope, we won’t, either,” Sam promised. “We’ve known we would share our wife someday. We’ve been sharing our women for years, Jackie.” “Sam.” Mitch’s voice sounded chastising. “I–I don’t think it’s a good idea.” “I think it’s a very good idea,” Mitch countered. He surprised her by picking her up and carrying her to the bedroom and her newly set up bed. There were no sheets or bedspreads on it. They hadn’t even removed the plastic off the top. “Mitch, you’ve got to stop. We can’t do this.” “Why not?” Sam asked, standing next to her.

“It’s not right.” “It’s right for us.” Mitch let her slide down his body to stand up. “I’m still married.” That seemed to bring everyone back to themselves. Mitch cursed and slapped the door facing. Sam slammed his hands on his hips and blew out a breath. “You won’t be married for long,” Mitch finally said. “Then you’re ours.” “Mitch, I’m not getting into a love triangle with the two of you. It will ruin our friendship and probably screw up your relationship with your brother. I can’t be responsible for that.” Jackie drew in a deep breath. God, she wanted them so badly. What was she going to do with them living just across the field from her? She’d be running into them in town all the time. “Nothing would come between the three of us. Not even each other,” Mitch assured her. “Look, just don’t worry about it anymore for now. You’re right, you’re still married. We got carried away.” Sam looked up at the ceiling then back down at her. “I’m not sorry I kissed you, but I am sorry I put you in that situation.” “I don’t want to lose you as my friends. I don’t have that many anymore,” she whispered. Mitch pulled her into his arms. “You’ll always have us no matter what happens, Jackie.” “Come on, Mitch, we better go.” Jackie thought it was odd that Sam was the voice of reason for a change. It was usually Mitch who cooled things off when they got too intense. Then it had been six years since she’d been around them for any length of time. And before that, she had been in college for four years. She had no idea how things had changed in their lives. Maybe Sam wasn’t the prankster she remembered him being. Maybe he’d grown up, just like they all had.

“Come lock us out, Jackie,” Mitch said. He grabbed her hand and pulled her toward the living room door. “Thank you for working in the barn for me. I appreciate it.” “We’ll finish it up for you. Don’t worry about it. You concentrate on the house,” Sam assured her. They opened the living room door and stepped out on her front porch. She hesitated at closing the door on them, but she knew they weren’t budging until they heard the locks click. She licked her bottom lip and smiled before closing the door and engaging all the locks. “See you tomorrow, Jackie,” Mitch said through the door. Then she heard the sound of their footsteps on the porch steps. After that, the sound of their truck pulling out reached her ears. She stepped away from the door and returned to the kitchen to look at the mess on her stove. It was a little like the mess in her life. **** Sam drove back home since Mitch was too pissed off at himself to drive. He felt for his brother. It was the first time in his life he wasn’t able to be in control of everything. Mitch was usually the one to keep things on solid ground. He made sure they didn’t get into trouble. This time, Sam had had to step in and cool things off. Sam wasn’t that much better off, though. He’d gotten carried away just like Mitch had. Only Mitch had nearly crossed the line. They’d always had limits, despite what a lot of people in town said about them. They didn’t screw around with married women. It didn’t matter that she was filing for divorce. She wasn’t divorced yet. They could court her and they would, but they couldn’t fuck her. No matter how hard they got or how much they wanted to, they wouldn’t do it. Thank God, Jackie had pointed it out that she was still married. Sam wasn’t sure how far they would have gone before

they stopped. Or, he admitted, if they even would have stopped. Both of them were sporting boners for her, and had been for over ten years. “How in the hell are we going to keep our hands off of her for three fucking months?” Mitch complained. “I don’t know, but we have to. She’ll be divorced before we know it,” Sam said, not really believing it any more than he knew Mitch did. “She’s got to have help though, Sam, and I don’t want anyone else giving it to her.” “I agree. We still help her and be indispensible to her so she relies on us, and not someone else.” “We’ll work on the barn first. That will take about a week with all the rotten boards that need replacing,” Mitch said. “Then there’s painting it, and the outside of the house needs painting as well.” Sam turned the truck down their drive. “She needs the front porch sanded and painted, and the steps could use a good coat of that non-slide paint on them.” Mitch ran a hand over his face. “She’s the one, Mitch. We are agreed on that?” “She’s always been the one, Sam.” “It’s going to take some work to gain her trust and confidence again.” “She’s been used and abused. We’ve got to treat her carefully. Mitch closed his eyes and leaned back against the seat. Sam realized Mitch wanted a piece of her ex-husband fairly badly. He hoped he never got the chance at him. The man might not make it alive, and Sam would be bailing Mitch out of jail. “Well, first off, we’ve got to agree that we keep our hands to ourselves, for now.” Sam stopped the truck in front of the house. “Agreed. Although I’m not going to be able to stop kissing her when I can get her to relax enough to let me. I just don’t need to let it get out of hand again.”

“We don’t touch her unless the other one is there to supervise,” Sam suggested. “Good idea. I don’t want to screw this up, Sam. I love her.” “I love her, too. We’ll make it till she’s divorced. Willpower, big brother. Willpower.” Mitch laughed and bumped knuckles with him. Sam got out of the truck and walked up on the porch next to Mitch. They looked out over the field to where they could just see a light over at her house. The urge to go get her was strong, but Sam resisted and prayed he had enough resistance in him for both him and his brother. He had a feeling Mitch was going to have trouble with the timing thing concerning the divorce. “You headed to bed?” Mitch asked. “Nope, going to sit outside for a while. Think some. I don’t do a lot of thinking.” “You do plenty. You just play it out as being the crazy twin. I’m the stable one. Look how stable I was this evening, though.” “Told you not to dwell on it. We know we have to take a step back for a while. We’ll both be okay.” “Don’t sit out here too long. Morning comes early these days.” Mitch closed the door behind him, leaving Sam out on the front porch. Sam walked down to the rocking chairs and settled into one. He could see Jackie’s house from there. In the daytime, he’d be able to make out the eaves and the roof line and the windows. But at night, all he could see was the silhouette of the windows due to the light on in the room. She wanted them, he was sure of that, but she was afraid. She didn’t think it was right for her to want both of them. She also didn’t plan on choosing. She’d committed to not dating either of them because she couldn’t make up her mind or chose one over the other. There would be no such worries once her divorce was final. She’d be so wrapped up in both of them that choosing one over the other would

be out of the question. And of course, living without them would be out of the question as well. Sam wondered about who was handling her divorce. Was it possible it was James Tidwell? If she filed here in town, it would have to be him. Damn. He would be competition. James had talked enough about her that Sam was surprised when she acted as if she didn’t know him. He watched the direction of her house over the next few hours, then when her lights when out, he stood up and stretched. He checked his watch. It was nearly nine p.m. He needed to be in the bed to get up early the next morning. He doubted he would need to set his alarm, but he would to be on the safe side. He didn’t want to miss a minute of time spent around Jackie. Hell, he’d camp out at her house if she’d let him park his truck and set up his tent there. Like that was going to happen. Sam walked inside then locked the doors and headed upstairs. He was hard as a rock, but he would be fine. He might as well get used to it. He’d likely be this way for the next three months.

Chapter Five Early the next morning, Jackie woke from a restless sleep full of dreams of Sam and Mitch. Their near miss had stirred her fantasies until she was wet and needy when she woke up. She refused to masturbate to thoughts of her best friends, and opted for a shower instead. After breakfast and two cups of hot coffee, Jackie felt like she could face the world. Well, maybe not Sam and Mitch though. She heard their truck pull up in the drive. She groaned and wished they would give her some room. She hastily put away her breakfast dishes and poured another cup of coffee. She figured she would need it. As soon as she heard their footsteps hit the steps to the front porch, Jackie unlocked the door and opened it for them. “Morning, Jackie.” Sam walked inside and brushed a kiss across her cheek as he did. “Morning,” Mitch said and did the same thing on her other cheek. “What do you have planned for today?” “Um, I’m going to start painting in the breakfast area.” She brushed a lock of hair back from her face. Some of it had already fallen out of the ponytail holder she’d slipped around it that morning. “Are you painting the ceilings, too?” Sam asked. “Yeah, they’re all dingy and need freshening up.” “How about I do your ceilings for you. I’m taller than you are,” Sam suggested. “That’s really nice of you to offer, but I can handle it. There’s no reason for you to take time out of your day to paint my ceilings.”

“I want to help, Jackie. If not painting, then I’ll find something else that needs doing.” “You might as well let him paint. He isn’t going to give up,” Mitch told her. “And what, pray tell, are you planning to do today?” she asked Mitch as she crossed her arms. “I’m working in the barn replacing rotten wood. You’ve got a lot of it that needs replacing, or you’re going to be building a new barn soon.” Jackie sighed. How could she turn them down? These were things she sure couldn’t do and would have to get hired done. They were doing her a very big favor. “I really do appreciate the help, guys. I hate for you to be helping me when you have your own place to run.” “We have hired hands to do the work there. We don’t actually work the ranch as much anymore. If they need us, we’re just a phone call away.” Mitch smiled and leaned back against the closed kitchen door. “Okay, I accept your help. I’ll cook supper for you in exchange for the free labor.” “Sounds like a deal to me,” Sam said with a huge grin. “Show me where your paint supplies are, and I’ll get started on the ceiling.” “I’m on my way out to the barn. If you all need me, you’ll know where I am.” Mitch turned around and opened the back door to leave. Then he threw over his shoulder. “Sam, we agreed not to pressure her.” “I know, little brother.” He turned to Jackie and rubbed his hands together. “Let’s see about the breakfast room.” They worked on painting the ceiling and the trim for the rest of the morning. Sam even got the kitchen ceiling and trim painted before they called a halt at noon. Jackie fixed sandwiches for everyone and nibbled on hers as they all talked about what her plans were for the rest of the house.

“I’m going to sand the kitchen cabinet doors and refinish them myself as I have time. They’re fine until I get to them.” She licked some mayo off her thumb and crumpled up the rest of her sandwich in the paper plate and threw it in the garbage. “Anyway, I’ve got to get to town. I’m due at the lawyer’s at two to sign papers.” “We’ll finish what I’m working on out in the barn and then go check on things around our house. What time is supper tonight?” Mitch asked. “How about seven? I want to get a few things done before I cook.” “We’ll see you at seven, then,” Sam said with a twinkle in his eye. She frowned at him. He had something up his sleeve when he had that look about him. She did not need him focusing on her. Not now. Maybe not ever. She drove to town thinking about that look and wondering what he could possibly be dreaming up when they knew how she felt. There was a parking place right outside of the lawyer’s office. She walked inside and was immediately shown back to James, Jr.’s office. “How are you doing, Jackie?” “Doing fine. I’ve been working on my house. Doing some painting and all.” “I’ve got your paperwork ready for you to sign. I want to go over a few things with you so you understand what it is saying. I also drew up paperwork for a restraining order.” “Why did you do that?” “He hit you, Jackie. Yes, it was probably a one-off thing, but it will go a long way in helping your case during the divorce. I found out he has already engaged a lawyer there in Billings by the name of Denzel Stevens. He’s very good in family law.” “I’m not surprised. He would get the best he could afford, or that his family could afford,” she said in a dry voice. “Here are the bare bones facts of the paperwork.”

James reviewed it all with her, and she learned that she was suing for a thousand dollars a month in alimony for one year to get her set up and on her feet. She wanted all of her original furnishings and housewares from before the marriage. And all of her personal possessions returned to her. She wasn’t asking for anything else. “Are you sure this is all you want? You have a strong enough case to ask for much more, Jackie,” James assured her. “If there were children involved, I would be after him for all I could get, but it’s just me, and all I want now is out.” “Okay, I have to ask you some questions so I’m not blindsided. Are you seeing anyone else, or have you been seeing anyone? “No!” I was faithful all during our marriage.” “Fine. I’m not judging, I’m just making sure I am prepared. You need to realize this lawyer will probably be hiring, or already hired, a detective to look into your life.” “You’ve got to be kidding!” she exclaimed. “It’s standard practice. I’ve already hired ours to solidify your case of adultery.” “I can’t believe this. I just wanted a simple, no strings attached divorce.” She smoothed down a wrinkle from her jeans. “He has money and a reputation to protect. It won’t be simple, Jackie. I’m sorry. I wish it were, for your sake.” He stood up and held out his hand. “I’ll send out his copy immediately, and your copy is waiting at the front desk. I’ll let you know as soon as I hear anything back from them. I’m filing with the courts today as well. I have a friend in Billings who is handling that for me.” “Thanks, James. I’m not ungrateful for you looking out for my best interests, I’m just shocked that it has to be this way.” “Nothing is simple anymore, Jackie. Is there anything else I can do for you? You are welcome to use me as a reference.” “Thanks, James. I appreciate it. I’m doing fine, though. I’ll look forward to hearing from you.”

She slipped out of his office after securing her copy of her divorce papers and stopped by the bank to apply for a job. They had a teller opening. It wasn’t perfect, but it was a job. She assured the young lady who took her application that she was available to start at any time. They would call for an interview later. She hoped to hear from them. Next she stopped by the grocery to pick up items to make meatloaf. She knew the twins loved meat and potatoes. They didn’t go for all the fancy stuff she’d had to learn, or tried to learn, to cook for her ex. It was a relief to fix something normal for a change. By seven that night, she had the meatloaf, mashed potatoes, English peas, and homemade rolls ready when they pulled into her drive. “Mmm, mmm, I smell meatloaf,” Sam said with a grin. “I smell homemade rolls,” Mitch countered. “You’re both right. Have a seat. I’ll have it on the table in no time.” She retreated to the kitchen to regroup. They had showered and shaved, and were dressed in new-looking jeans that were skintight and outlined their very aroused cocks to perfection. They wore dark blue western shirts that emphasized the size of their muscular arms and broad chests. Looking at them all night without touching was going to be pure torture. “Need any help in here?” Jackie screeched and jumped at the sudden sound of Mitch’s voice. “God, don’t sneak up on me like that.” “Sorry, didn’t realize I was. You okay?” “Yeah, just got to get my heart out of my throat.” She picked up some potholders and handed them to Mitch. “You can carry the meatloaf and put it in the center of the table on the rack. I’ll bring the rest.” She watched him pick up the dish and disappear into the dining room. She grabbed two more potholders and grabbed the mashed

potatoes and English peas. She would come back for the rolls. She followed him in the other room and sat her dishes on their trivets before running back into the kitchen for the rolls. “This looks like a feast.” Sam stood up and began dishing meatloaf on everyone’s plate. By the time they had finished eating, Jackie was a nervous wreck. They hadn’t really done anything to arouse her, but just watching them eat had nearly set her on fire with the need for release. Her panties were soaked and her clit swollen. They insisted on helping her clean up. It turned into a battle of wills. They brushed against her every chance they had, and she tried to stay away from them as much as possible. Finally, she couldn’t take it anymore, and cornered them about their little game. “You’re driving me insane with this childish game you’re playing,” she fussed, throwing the dish towel on the countertop. “What are you talking about, Jackie?” Sam asked. “You know exactly what I’m talking about. The little touch here, the brush there. You’re driving me crazy.” “Then we’re even,” Mitch said with a sigh. “Because you are driving us crazy, too.” “Then maybe we don’t need to see each other at all for a while. I filed for divorce this afternoon, but it will be three months before I’m free, and until then, I can’t screw up my case.” She sighed and ran a hand through her hair. “What’s even worse is I don’t know why you’re pushing me in the first place. We had this same problem as teenagers, and nothing has changed, other than we’re adults now and should know better.” “Jackie, everything has changed.” Mitch stalked her until she had backed herself into a corner. “What do you mean?” she whispered as he leaned in closer to her. “It wasn’t okay for us both to date you as teenagers, but we can pretty much do whatever the hell we want to do as adults, as long as no one gets hurt. We both plan to date you, Jackie,” Mitch told her.

Sam eased up to her on the other side of Mitch. “We’re both going to court you, baby. We want you in our arms and in our bed.” “Oh, God.” Jackie couldn’t think with them so close to her. “Do you know how many years I’ve dreamed of you in my arms?” Mitch asked her. All she could do was shake her head no. “Since your sixteenth birthday.” “We have been talking about you all that time. Wanting you and knowing you needed to spread your wings some before we claimed you,” Sam continued. “Only you went and got married on us and we lost our chance— till now,” Mitch whispered in her ear. “I don’t get it. Nothing has changed. I can’t date both of you even when my divorce is final. And, you can’t make me choose between you. I can’t do it.” Jackie could barely breathe with them so close to her. “You’re wrong, Jackie. Everything has changed. You’re an adult and can do whatever you want to do.” Sam licked her earlobe. “We’d never make you choose between us, Jackie, because we want you between us. Always.” Mitch nipped at her jaw. “You’ve got to stop. I can’t think with you doing that. You’re too close to me.” She tried to push past them, but only managed to insinuate herself deeper into their embrace. “Jackie, we could never get too close to you.” Sam nipped the other side of her jaw, but stepped back. Mitch pulled back as well and she drew in a deep, shaky breath. How would she ever manage to stay out of their bed if they continued this day after day? “You agree then that you’re attracted to both of us and that once your divorce is final, you’ll be open to dating us?” Mitch asked. “What was this? Some sort of intervention or something?” Jackie was mad now. They were playing with her emotions, and she didn’t appreciate it one bit. They were supposed to be friends.

“We wanted you to admit that you’re still attracted to both of us. We want the chance to court you.” “You mean you want the chance to fuck me,” she spat out. Mitch caught her arms and hauled her up to him until they were nose to nose. “Don’t belittle what we feel for you. Yeah, sex plays a part in it, but it’s more than sex, Jackie. Maybe it’s love, I don’t know, but we care about you more than you can ever imagine.” He let her down and backed up a step shaking his head. “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have done that. Sam, we better go before we make things worse.” Mitch turned toward the living room. Sam sighed and wrapped his big hand around the back of her neck and pulled her in for a kiss. He licked along the seam of her lips and when she opened her mouth, he dove in. He explored her mouth to his satisfaction then made it his. When he pulled back, they were both breathing hard, and he had a triumphant smile plastered across his face. “Talk to you later, Jackie.” Sam followed Mitch out the door. Jackie quickly crossed the distance to turn the locks. She might lock them out of her house for now, but they would be back, and there was no locking them out of her heart now. They had managed to get a foothold in, and weren’t budging. What was she going to do? Jackie finished putting away the dishes and cooking utensils before running a bath and sprinkling some of her bath salts in as it filled up. She stepped into the fragrant water and eased down until she was totally submerged except her neck and head. The hot water and soothing scent helped calm her ragged emotions. She wanted them. God help her, she wanted them both. What was she going to do? They would leave her alone for the most part for now, but once her divorce was final, they would be back. She had no doubt about that. If she dated them both but separately, people would assume she was trying to make up her mind which brother to choose. They’d then

wait for the big fight between the two brothers and when none came, they would assume they were just gentlemen enough to step aside. If she dated them both at the same time, not only would people talk, they would look at her differently. She wasn’t sure she could handle that sort of social consequence. She’d been so turned on to the social scene back in Billings, that it would be hard to ignore it even here. Was she truly thinking of dating them both—at the same time? The water had grown cool now, so she climbed out and dried off before slipping nude between the sheets of her new bed. As soon as her head hit the pillow, she slipped into sleep.

Chapter Six Warm hands slid over her nude body as she fought through the layers of sleep. Two mouths latched on to her nipples and sucked, sending hot shards of fire through her body. She thrust her breasts upward, hoping for more. She grasped two different heads with her hands, holding them there as she fought for a full breath. Mitch pulled back from her grasp and began a slow, sensuous journey down her torso, nipping and licking along the way until he reached her shaved pussy. He nibbled her mound before sliding between her legs. His fingers teased at her opening before pulling back at her pussy lips to expose her wet cunt to his greedy tongue. The first swipe drew a groan from her. Sam was twisting and pulling on her other breast while nipping and licking the one in his mouth. The duel sensations sent electrical impulses straight to her clit. She could already feel it swollen and needy, begging for attention. Sam’s tongue swirled around her nipple over and over until she nearly begged him to suck it. When he finally did, she whimpered in relief. Still, it wasn’t enough. Mitch licked her slit from top to bottom and over again until she was pumping her pelvis in an attempt to get him to suck her clit. She needed a firmer hand. They were teasing her. She wanted more. She reached down to stimulate herself, but Mitch grabbed her hand and pushed it back until Sam could hold it. “Uh, uh, uh. We’ll take care of you. Just leave it to us to know what you need.” Sam pulled her hand up and wrapped it around his steel-hard cock. “Feel how hard I am for you.”

Jackie squeezed and pumped his dick once with her hand before all rational thought evaporated. Mitch stuck two fingers inside of her and began to thrust them in and out as he licked her pussy lips. He pushed them in over and over again before curling them up and locating her G-spot. He immediately took advantage of it once he found it. She had completely forgotten about Sam’s cock as Mitch stroked her hot spot until she was whimpering and pleading with him to make her come. He chuckled and drew his tongue lightly over her clit, eliciting a scream. Sam ground his cock into her hand and pinched both nipples at the same time that Mitch latched on to her clit and began sucking hard. Jackie felt her body began to bow in preparation for a climax like she’d never felt before. Then her phone rang. She reached for the climax and ignored it, but it was gone, and her eyes popped open. It had all been a dream. She’d been having a damn dream. The phone rang again. She sighed and rolled over to reach for her cell phone on the box next to her bed. “Hello?” She glanced at her watch and winced. It was nearly eight. She was running late. “Do you know how embarrassing it was to be served divorce papers at the fucking country club?” “Sorry, I didn’t have any say over when they served them. Why are you calling me in the first place?” “I think we should be able to settle this without all the damn lawyers being involved,” he said. “It’s already done. I’m satisfied, and you should be, too. I didn’t ask for anything other than something to help me get on my feet again. You could even pay me all at one time and it wouldn’t hurt you one bit. Then you could forget about me for the rest of your miserable life.” She rubbed her eyes. She was getting a headache just thinking about him.

“Jackie, I want to work things out. I screwed up. I know, but we can work through this together.” “No, we can’t. I will not move back to that sort of relationship. I’ll never know if you’re screwing one of my friends behind my back or not. I’ll never know if you’re going to haul off and hit me again.” She started to hang up, but his next words stopped her. “I know you’re seeing those hicks living next door to you.” “I’m not seeing them. They have been helping me fix the house and barn so I can live here.” “The picture I’m looking out looks awfully cozy to me. You’re between them, with one of them kissing you.” “That’s all it was, too, was a kiss. I put a stop to it. You fucked my best friend.” “Think about it, Jackie. We’ve been together for six years. Let’s not throw that away over our first real fight.” “Fight! That wasn’t a fight. That was a revelation. You’ve done nothing but belittle me for six damn years, and then I find you pumping your cock in Julia? I don’t think so. I’m hanging up now.” She pushed the off button on her cell and tossed it on the box before pulling the covers over her head. Hell, what was she going to do now? If he didn’t sign the damn papers, they could end up fighting for years, knowing him. Jackie finally threw off the covers and rolled out of bed. She needed coffee, but she would shower first. She needed to get the scent of her dream off of her. She smelled as if she’d masturbated in her sleep, and maybe she had. After her shower, she dressed in worn jeans and a T-shirt and sat at her bar waiting for the coffeemaker to finish. She would paint the kitchen walls today, and maybe start on the dining room next. She needed a job, though, and hadn’t heard from any of the ones she had applied for. The one at the grocery store might be her best bet. She should probably go back that afternoon and check it out.

After two cups of coffee, she finally felt decent enough to tackle cleaning the dining room walls in preparation for painting them. As she hauled a bucket of water into the room, she heard a noise out back. She pulled aside the curtain and noticed Sam’s truck was parked outside the barn. They were back working on the barn. She didn’t know whether to go acknowledge them or ignore them. She couldn’t afford anymore sexually suggestive pictures, so she decided to talk to them. She was sure they could be reasonable. Jackie found them on the back wall tearing off rotten boards. They were already shirtless and had worked up a good sweat. Their welldefined muscles were highlighted by the gleam of sweat. “Hi, guys,” she called out. They both turned and smiled at her. “Hey, baby,” Sam called back. “What are you working on today?” “I’m cleaning the dining room walls to paint them next. I need to talk to you a minute, though.” They exchanged looks and walked over to where she stood. She took a step back when they crowded her. This only made them smile. “What is it, Jackie?” Mitch asked, flicking away a strand of her hair that had glued itself to her cheek. “Look, my soon-to-be ex has hired a detective to watch me. He got a picture of us last night that was not exactly flattering for me in my case. We can’t be alone together while I’m trying to get this divorce. I greatly appreciate your help, but if that’s going to be a problem, then I understand if you would rather not help anymore.” “Someone took pictures of us last night?” Mitch demanded. “Yeah. So I would rather that didn’t happen again.” “Fuck!” Sam walked off and then walked back. “How did you find out?” “Stewart called me this morning to enlighten me of the situation. He’s going to fight me on the divorce. I can’t fight back if he has enough evidence to suggest that I’m having an affair as well.”

“Maybe we should pay Stewart a visit in Billings,” Mitch suggested. “No! Don’t you dare make this any worse than it already is for me.” She rubbed a spot between her eyes that pounded. She had never taken anything for her headache, and it was beginning to get worse. “So, do you want us to leave?” Sam asked in a quiet voice. “No, not unless you can’t handle behaving like we’re friends. That’s all we can be right now.” “You’re saying we can’t touch you.” Mitch dug his hands into the pockets of his jeans. “Yeah, you can’t touch me, hug me, kiss me, or whatever else you have up your sleeve.” Sam laughed and held up his arms. “I don’t have on any sleeves right now.” “Funny. Do we have an agreement?” she asked. “Yeah, we’ll act like choirboys around you,” Mitch said in a disgusted voice. “I’ll come paint your ceiling in the dining room if you want,” Sam offered. “Let me clean the walls and baseboards. Then you can paint for me. I’ll leave the back door unlocked. I have to go to town about a job this afternoon anyway.” “You get a job already?” Mitch asked, looking shocked. “No, but I have another couple of places to put in applications.” “Good luck,” Sam said, poking Mitch in the ribs. “Yeah, good luck.” Mitch returned to the boards they were working on and left Sam with her. “He’s not taking rejection too well,” Sam explained. “I don’t have a choice if I want this divorce to go through as fast as possible.” “I know, Jackie. Don’t worry about him. He’ll be okay.” “I’ve got to go so I can get the dining room finished in time to go to town.”

She turned and walked back to the back door. She heard Mitch cursing when she rounded the barn to head back to the house. As she walked inside, she could hear her phone ringing in the dining room. She hurried to catch it and answered in a breathless voice. “Hello?” “Is that you, Jackie?” “James. Hi, yeah, I ran to get to the phone. It was in the other room.” “Look, we need to talk. I received a rather compromising picture of you this morning in my in box.” “I’m coming to town this afternoon anyway. I know all about the photo. Stewart called and woke me up this morning telling me about it. He wants to reconcile for some damn reason, and is threatening to fight me over the divorce.” He sighed over the phone. “Jackie, I told you not to keep anything from me. Had I known about this beforehand, I could have prepared for it.” “There’s nothing to prepare for. Nothing is going on. They made a play for me, and I turned them down. I wasn’t expecting it. They’re helping me with getting the house back together is all. I promise, nothing is going on. I’ve had a talk with them, and they know how important it is for them not to jeopardize my divorce proceedings. “We still need to talk when you come to town. Just drop by when you have time. I’m pretty much free this afternoon anyway.” James hung up, leaving Jackie feeling like a teenager having been chastised by her father. She sighed and began cleaning the walls in the dining room in earnest. She scrubbed away her frustration and aggravation until the water in the bucket was a murky, pea green color. She emptied it feeling a small sense of accomplishment. It also served at having gotten out some of her anger while cleaning the walls and baseboard all at the same time.

Jackie took a quick shower and dressed in new gray slacks and a cool pink sleeveless blouse. She arrived in town during a lull in traffic and was able to find a parking place almost directly in front of the grocery store. She drew in a deep breath and got out of the car to apply for the cashier position still advertised by the sign on the door. “We’re looking for someone who can work any hours we need. Are you free to do that?” the manager asked her. “Yes, I can work any hours. I don’t have children, so that’s not a problem. I don’t have any grocery cashier experience, though.” “You don’t have to have any. Most of the help I hire are teenagers, and they don’t have any experience in anything other than each other. When can you start?” he asked. “Um, just about any time, I guess.” “How about tomorrow morning? Thursday mornings are usually pretty slow. It will give us time to teach you the ropes.” “Sounds good to me. What time?” They discussed her hours and a tentative schedule that would get her approximately thirty hours a week. She could make ends meet on the salary at that, but it would be close. She really needed that thousand dollars a month from Stewart for a year to get on her feet and find a more permanent job. By the time she left the grocery store, she had her smock with her name badge and a time card with her name on it. She sighed and walked down the street to James, Jr.’s office. The secretary smiled at her and asked her to take a seat. “He’s on a phone call, but should be finished in just a few seconds.” “Thanks, I can wait.” Five minutes later, the secretary escorted her in to James’s office. He stood up and offered her his hand. “Glad you could come in, Jackie. We really are going to have to talk.”

“What’s going on, James?” Unease immediately sent a cold shiver down her spine. “Let me show you the pictures I have.” He pulled out an envelope and slid it across the desk to her. Jackie opened the envelope and pulled out three pictures. All three were of her and Sam and Mitch in very compromising positions. Even to her, they looked very intimate. Still, all of her clothes were on. She sighed and slipped them back into the envelope and handed it back to James. “I agree, it looks bad, but there will be no more and nothing happened, like I said.” “Stewart’s lawyer called me this morning and said he wants to reconcile, and will fight you over the divorce.” “If the thousand is off the table?” she asked. “No deal.” “Why would he want to reconcile?” She couldn’t think of a single reason he would want her. “Well, I did some digging, and I found out that he is up for full partnership in his firm soon. They will probably look down on his being divorced.” “So, I’m a means to an end. That really makes me feel special.” She closed her eyes and blew out a breath. “So, what are my options?” “There are only two that I can come up with. That is provided you really have no intention of reconciliation.” James leaned back in his chair. “There is no way I will ever go back to that poor excuse of a man,” she assured him. “Then we can fight him as it is and, provided you keep the pictures from getting any worse, you can expect it to take at least a year to get a court date with everything he can throw our way. “What’s the other way you mentioned?” she asked, appalled.

“We can ask for everything you could possibly want and fight him for it. Make it public and he’ll cave in to get you off his back. You could quite possibly ruin his chances of ever becoming a partner.” How long do you think that will take?” she asked. “It could take as long as a year, but I would put money on him backing down within a few months.” “I guess I don’t really have much choice.” She sighed and crossed her arms. “Let’s take him to the cleaners.” They spent the next hour drawing up a counteroffer asking for half of everything he owned, down to his favorite horse. The detective that James had hired already had some compromising pictures of Stewart with Julia in a hot tub and in the living room of the house on the couch. She could look at them and it not upset her as much as it had when she’d walked in on them that night. She was already over him. She’d probably been over him long before that. He had slowly been killing their relationship since nearly the beginning, by tearing down her self-esteem. He belittled her until she felt an inch tall. Well, she was worth a lot more than what he owned, and if he was going to put off the divorce, she would own as much of him as she could. “Thanks for helping me with all of this, James. Let me know what happens. I’m going to be working at the grocery store starting tomorrow.” “You’re kidding,” he said. “No, I need a job, James. It’s honest work.” Suddenly she felt as if she were defending herself. “Hey, I’m not knocking it. I’m just surprised with your degree you couldn’t get something more along those lines, is all.” “Well, there haven’t been a lot of openings in the paper.” “You can always find another job later when one comes up,” he suggested. “That’s my plan.” She walked over to the door. “Thanks again and I’ll talk to you when you know something new.”

She thought about her so-called marriage all the way back home. She should have realized early in their marriage that it wasn’t going to work. Instead, she’d dutifully worked harder and harder to please Stewart, thinking that she just wasn’t trying hard enough. Then when she knew she would never please him, she’d resigned herself to living that way because she didn’t believe in divorce without a damn good reason. Well, she got her damn good reason slapped in the face. When she pulled into the drive, Sam’s truck was gone. She sighed, a little disappointed, but knowing it was for the best. She let herself into the house and found not only the ceiling painted in the dining room, but the walls as well. They’d finished her dining room for her. Tears formed in her eyes as she realized they actually did care more for her than she thought. They’d even cleaned up all the paint supplies and put everything back like it had been. She was totally floored. They were not only handsome, hot-bodied, sexy men. They were also thoughtful. How would she ever be able to resist them? Did she even want to?

Chapter Seven She pulled out her cell phone before she could talk herself out of it and called the house number. It rang three times, and Mitch answered it. “Hello?” “Mitch? It’s Jackie. I wanted to thank you and Sam for finishing my dining room for me. I really do appreciate it.” “It was his idea. It didn’t take long at all. It’s not that big of a room.” “It helped me tremendously, though,” she said. “We still have a few more boards to replace on the barn before we can paint it.” “Do I need to go ahead and get paint them for it tomorrow?” “We got the paint already. You can pay us back after we finish with it.” Mitch’s voice sounded strained. “I can’t thank you enough.” “So how did the job interview go?” he asked. “I start work at the grocery store in the morning. I work from seven till three tomorrow.” “Doing what?” “Cashier. I’ll check groceries.” “That’s beneath you, Jackie.” “Nothing’s beneath me when I need a job, Mitch.” “I told you we would be glad to lend you money if you needed it. You shouldn’t have to work at a minimum wage job.” “I don’t mind working at the grocery store. I’ll get a discount on my groceries, for one thing.”

“It’s not something to joke about, Jackie. You shouldn’t have to work at all. The bastard hit you.” “Mitch, I didn’t call to argue. I wanted to thank you for being so nice to me.” There was a sigh over the phone. “I’m sorry. It just tears me up inside to know he hurt you, and now you’re working a minimum wage job when you have a college degree. I care about you, baby.” “I know.” “Here’s Sam. He wants to talk to you.” Before she could tell Mitch good-night, he’d handed over the phone to Sam. “Hey, baby. How are you doing?” Sam asked. “Fine. I told your brother, but I’ll tell you. I really appreciate your finishing my dining room for me.” “No problem. We wanted to do it, and it didn’t take long at all. Did he tell you we still have a few boards to replace on the barn?” “Yeah. I’ll be gone to work in the morning when you get there, so I’m going to leave a key under the flower pot next to the back step in case you need in the house for anything.” She could hear him repeating that to Mitch in the background. “Sounds good. Mitch said you’re going to be working at the grocery store. You really okay with that?” he asked. “Yeah, I’m really okay with it. It’s an honest job, Sam. It doesn’t pay much, but it will pay my bills.” “So, anything else going on?” “Stewart is fighting the divorce. I had a long talk with James, my lawyer, about it. We’ve decided to ask for half of everything he has to hopefully get him to back down. As it is now, the divorce is going to take a while.” “Fuck. I’m sorry, Jackie. We screwed it up for you.”

“He’d have fought it anyway. He wants to become a full partner at his office and that means not getting a divorce. So…” She let it trail off. “He’s going to fight you on this thinking he can get you to come back to him.” “Yeah.” She sighed and looked at her wristwatch. It was getting late. “Look, I need to go so I can get ready for work tomorrow. I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciated your help.” “Sleep well, Jackie. We’ll take care of the barn tomorrow and talk to you later.” “Night, Sam.” She hung up and stood looking at the dining room again. Stewart would never have done something so nice. He wouldn’t have even hired someone to finish it for her. What had she ever seen in him in the first place? She honestly couldn’t remember. Her parents had liked him well enough, but she did remember that several of her friends, Mitch and Sam especially, hadn’t liked him much. When the divorce was finally final, what was she going to do about them? Could she ignore the talk and date them both? Did she want to? Well, if her dream was any indication of what her body wanted, she was sure dating them both would be a definite possibility. Scratch that, probability. It was obvious her body was turned on by them and the promise of what they could do for her together, but what about emotionally? Could she handle the logistics of a threesome relationship? What were they called, ménages? She walked around the house, thinking. She knew she could fall in love with them easily, as she was already halfway there, had been since high school. Even back then she’d been smart enough to know it would be a mess to deal with, and had stayed away from them. Why didn’t she do the same this time? She sighed. Because she was already half in love with them, and part of her didn’t want to stay away from them. She wanted to have

that relationship that would probably end in a mess. She wanted to fall fully in love with them and see where it could take her. She finally gave up and took a bath and went to bed. She had a long day tomorrow, the first day of a new job that she knew absolutely nothing about. She hoped James would come back soon with some good news. She could sure use it. **** Sam was arguing against backing off. “Mitch, we’re going to lose her if we back off too much. She’s going to shore up her defenses and refuse to date us.” “Sam, she’s got a lot on her mind right now. We’ve made it worse by giving Stewart something to use against her. She needs some space.” Mitch didn’t want to back off, either. He wanted her in their bed as much as Sam did, but he also knew they could screw everything up by pushing her, especially with her divorce hanging in the balance. No, he felt it was best if they backed off a little. “Doesn’t mean we have to stop seeing her, Sam. Just no more physical contact for now.” “Well, I’m going to the grocery store tomorrow to pick up a few things. Do you want to go with me?” “Fuck, Sam. Don’t cause a scene.” Mitch ran a hand through his hair in frustration. “I won’t. I’ll just smile and say hi. I don’t want her to forget what I look like.” “She’s not going to forget. If we stick to our guns and don’t harass her, maybe the divorce will go through faster without pictures of us all over her to stall it out.” Sam’s jaw worked, a testament to how aggravated he was.

“She doesn’t deserve to have to go through the damn thing in the first place. That scumbag should have just given her the divorce after hitting her. End of story,” he said. “You’re preaching to the choir, Sam. I agree. There’s nothing we can do but back off.” “We can finish her house for her. Let’s get the barn done, then find out what she wants done to each room and do it.” “We can do that. We should have the barn finished by the weekend,” Mitch agreed. “I’ll try to find out what her schedule is like when I go tomorrow afternoon to the grocery store,” Sam said. “Don’t push her, Sam.” “I won’t.” Sam walked off to his part of the house. Mitch grabbed a beer from the fridge and popped the top. He chugged the first few swallows, then slowed up. He needed to rest, and if he had to get up and pee every hour, he wouldn’t get any sleep. Truth was, he wanted to sleep so he could dream. They’d been so real lately. The one last night had ended up being a wet dream. He hadn’t done that since he’d been in high school. He and Sam had her between them in their bed in the master bedroom. They’d saved that room for their bride when they found her. He was glad they hadn’t used it yet. It would be there all new for Jackie when they finally convinced her to be their bride. She was writhing between them as they covered her with kisses. Sam would lick her from breast to breast, and he would inch his way to her pussy. He couldn’t wait to taste her. She would be sweeter than sugar and spicier than a cider. He had his tongue between her wet folds licking her sweet pussy while Sam nibbled her nipples. He’d located her hotspot and was stroking it as he sucked her clit. She came all over his face. It had been the hottest thing. He hadn’t been able to wait. He rolled on a condom and pulled her from Sam’s arms to the edge of the bed so he could shove his cock inside of her. She’d cried out and wrapped her legs around his waist. Sam had

moved and continued feasting on her breasts while he tunneled in and out of her sweet cunt. He had to work his way inside of her with each thrust, her tight pussy squeezing him with each pass. The faster he fucked her the more she begged. “Harder. Please, more, Mitch.” He pounded into her over and over until he felt his balls draw up. He knew he was about to come. She wasn’t ready yet. “Sam, I’m going to come. I can’t hold off. You’ve got to finish her off.” “I’ve got her.” Sam pinched her breasts, and she moaned. “Fuck, she’s so fucking tight, Sam. You’re not going to be able to hold out, either.” Mitch redoubled his effort to hold on just a little longer. He wanted to see her face when she came. He would miss it when he came, so he was glad that Sam would finish her for him. He felt the cum begin to boil in his balls. He changed his angle and bumped her cervix with each thrust until he filled the condom with his cum. The climax seemed to go on forever, and he couldn’t see for the stars exploding behind his eyelids. Finally he was able to move, and carefully pulled out. He discarded the condom by the bed and climbed up the bed to let Sam between her legs. Jackie was begging to come now. He reached down and rubbed her nipple with the palm of his hand. She groaned and thrust her breast further into his hand. Then she screamed, and he saw that Sam had started to enter her. Watching his brother’s cock disappear inside of her was one of the most erotic sights he’d ever seen. Inch by slow inch, he pushed his sheathed dick inside of her hot cunt. Mitch watched the mirage of expressions cross Jackie’s face as he played with her nipples while Sam fucked his way inside of her. Once he was all the way in, he rubbed his pubic bone against her clit. She tried to push back against him for more sensation, but he pulled out then slammed back in all the way.

She must have liked that because she tried to meet him halfway with the thrust the next time. He placed a hand over her pelvis to keep her still while he pummeled her with his cock. She thrashed from side to side as he shoved his thick cock in and out of her hot cunt. When he began to get close, he nodded at Mitch. Mitch began twisting her nipples and pulling on them while Sam found her clit and pinched it. She screamed as she came long and hard. Sam’s shout of release could barely be heard over hers. Mitch felt his cock grow even harder just thinking about the dream. He prayed to have another dream like that tonight. As hard as he was, he would probably end up jerking off in the shower just to get some relief so he could sleep. As good as the dreams tended to be, he knew the real thing would be ten times better. Her smile came to mind and he knew he would do most anything for one of her smiles. If that meant backing off for a while, he’d do it. It wouldn’t be easy, but he would do it. **** Jackie rose early the next morning with a plan in her mind of what she wanted to do after work. She wanted to start on the living room next. She would wash down the walls after work and paint the ceiling the next day. She showered and dressed and headed to work. She prayed she would be able to catch on quickly. Once she arrived and had clocked in, the manager took her over to a cash register and explained the mechanics of operating the new scan systems. She practiced for thirty minutes, and he declared her ready for the real thing. She counted her drawer and set up on register number four. The manager worked with her through her first two sells and then left her on her own. She worked until nine, when he gave her a break. She sat down in the break room and got off her feet. She could tell her legs and feet were going to ache after today.

She got a lunch break at eleven thirty. When she got back from lunch, she worked steadily until Sam came in. He waved at her and continued down the aisles with a cart. A little while later he got in her line and waited for her to check out a family of four with food stamps. She had to have help in figuring them out. Then Sam was next. He’d bought what looked like the makings for a soup of some type. She concentrated on scanning his groceries. He seemed to be concentrating on her. It made her nervous. Being nervous made her fumble-fingered. She sighed and frowned at Sam. “What?” he asked. “Don’t stare at me so hard. I’m nervous enough as it is,” she whispered. “Sorry, I can’t stop looking at you. You’re cute in that little apron.” “Thanks, that will be twenty-eight sixty-two, please.” She held out her hand. Sam laughed and handed her his debit card. Good, she could handle a debit card. When she slid it, then handed it back, he touched her fingers just a few seconds too long. She felt the electric zap on her fingers. Sam jumped as well. “Static electricity,” she explained. He didn’t look so sure of that. “So when do you get off work?” “Three.” She handed him his receipt. “What is your schedule for the rest of the week?” “I work tomorrow and Saturday seven till three, and I’m off on Sunday.” “How about working on your house Sunday?” Sam asked her. “I’m planning on painting the living room next. I’m going to wash down the walls this afternoon after work.” “I’ll paint the ceiling for you tomorrow while you’re at work then.” “Um, thanks, but you don’t have to do that. I can paint.” “I don’t mind, and it doesn’t take any time at all to do.”

“Um, there’s someone behind you. I need to get to work.” “I’ll talk to you tonight.” He smiled and grabbed his groceries and left. Jackie smiled to herself and checked out the next set of customers. By the time three rolled around, she was dead on her feet. If she managed to make it home, she wasn’t sure she’d be washing down anything. Her feet hurt. Her back hurt, and her arms hurt. Cashiering wasn’t a wimpy job. She clocked out and left thinking about a nice hot bath with Epsom salt in the water. Lord knows my feet would benefit. She would add her bath salts, too, for the scent. By five that afternoon, she was in her tub with the bath salts and a glass of wine. Her walls weren’t going to get washed down this evening, that was for sure. She was exhausted. When she finally roused herself enough to climb out of the tub and dry off, her cell phone rang. She wondered who was calling so late. She checked the caller ID and found it to be James. She walked into her bedroom and grabbed her robe then answered the phone. “Just wanted to let you know we got a good reaction from Stewart. His lawyer wanted to negotiate. I told him no deal. Either take the last offer we made and sign the papers, or we’re going for broke.” “So, do you think he’ll take it?” she asked. “Not this soon, he’ll try and fight a little first, but he’ll come around.” “I hope soon, because I hate knowing I’m married to him.” “How was your first day at work?” “Good, but I’m exhausted. I’m probably going to bed in about an hour. It’s nearly six-thirty.” “Hard to work on your feet all day when you’re not used to it.” “Tell me about it. My feet and legs are one big ache.” Jackie sat on the edge of the bed. “Hope you rest well. I’ll be in touch.” James hung up.

Before she had even gotten her feet up in bed, the phone rang again. This time when she checked the caller ID, it turned out to be Sam’s cell phone. “Hey, Sam. How are you?” “Good. How did the rest of your shift go?” “Fine. I was very glad when it was over, though.” “Tired?” he asked. “Yeah, it’s hard on your feet and legs.” “I take it you’re not going to be cleaning your walls tonight.” Sam’s voice held a chuckle in it. “Nope. I doubt I’ll get to them till Sunday, when I’m off work.” “Do you need us to come over and massage your feet for you?” “Oh, God. Don’t tempt me like that,” she said, not joking in the least. “You know we’ll be over there in a second if you want us to.” “I know. But it’s not a good idea, and you know it.” “Why don’t we plan to do an all-out workout on your house Sunday? We’ll even cook out and eat outside so it’s all nice and friendly,” Sam suggested. “That actually sounds like fun. I have a grill here, so you wouldn’t need to bring one over.” “Sounds good. I’m going to hang up and let Mitch call you on his phone.” “Night, Sam.” She hung up and climbed all the way into the bed as her phone rang again. She answered it without looking at caller ID. “Hey, Mitch.” “Who the hell is Mitch?”

Chapter Eight “Stewart? Why are you calling me?” Jackie groaned and rolled her eyes. “And I asked you who Mitch is? Is he one of the men you’re screwing over there?” “I’m not screwing anyone. What do you want, Stewart?” “Why did you change the fucking divorce papers?” he demanded. “Because you wouldn’t sign them like they were, so I figured that if I’m going to have to fight to get a divorce from you, I might as well fight for everything I can get.” “You won’t get anything once everyone finds out about your little penchant for ménages.” “I haven’t had a ménage, and you know it. You barely had sex with me.” “It doesn’t have to be true. It just has to be heard once or twice,” he said. “Just like the fact that you beat me regularly.” Jackie could play his game, too. “You bitch. You wouldn’t.” Stewart sounded furious. “I’ll do whatever it takes to get you out of my life, Stewart.” “Don’t hold your breath on getting your divorce.” “Don’t expect to keep your house,” she countered and hung up. When the phone rang again, she checked the caller ID and found it was Mitch. “Who were you talking to?” he asked. “Stewart called to threaten me with those pictures.” “Do they threaten you for some reason?” he asked.

Jackie sighed. “Not me personally, but my divorce case.” “I don’t see how. Not only did we have all our clothes on, but we didn’t do anything.” “The guy has to be a professional photographer. They look pretty incriminating.” She switched the phone to her other ear. “It doesn’t matter. He is going to fight me on the divorce regardless.” “Why?” Jackie explained about his career plans and what was at stake. “So, you’re supposed to put your life on hold while he fucks around?” “James seems to think he’ll think twice about losing more than this chance at a promotion and back down soon. I guess I’ll see.” “Sam said we’re going to be cooking out at your place Sunday. What do you want? Ribs, steak, hamburgers?” “I’d really love hamburgers and hot dogs. I haven’t had those in ages,” she admitted. “Then that’s what we’ll have. You handle the potato salad and baked beans, and we’ll handle the rest,” Mitch said. ”I’m ready for bed, so I’m hanging up now.” Jackie yawned. “There’s a vision to leave me with, Jackie.” “Sorry, I’m not thinking straight now. Talk to you later.” Jackie hung up and fell back on the bed, arms spread out wide. She was tired. She daydreamed of Sam and Mitch and what it would feel like to be between them. Was she really considering going out with them? Both of them? There was just something about how they treated her that drew her to them. It always had. She’d fought long and hard as a teenager to resist, and here she was an adult and contemplating giving in to them. But Stewart was right. People would talk, and she’d be the center for gossip for a long time if she had an affair. It wouldn’t matter how brief it might be. Was she up for the gossip and innuendos? Did she care what people thought about her anymore? It used to matter a great

deal, but that was when she was married to Stewart, and his reputation was important. She didn’t give a rat’s ass about his reputation now. So, maybe she was thinking about stepping out with them. Who could blame her? They were sex on Popsicle sticks. She could spend an entire day exploring their bodies and not get bored. She sighed and stood up to grab a glass of wine. Once she was settled back in her bedroom under the covers, she sipped her wine and thumbed through a magazine. She couldn’t concentrate on anything, though, because all she could think about was what it would feel like to have Sam and Mitch wrapped around her. She kicked back the covers and set her glass of wine on the box by the bed. If the wine wasn’t helping, she knew what would. Jackie slipped two fingers between her pussy lips and began a slow slide up and down her slit. She wet the fingers of her other hand and rubbed them lightly around her nipples before blowing on them. The cool air across the wet tips had them poking up tall and proud. She pushed her breast closer to her mouth and licked her own nipple, then nipped it. She kept sliding her fingers in and out of her wet pussy the entire time. Her juices seeped out of her pussy and down her inner thighs as she finger-fucked herself. She pulled out and circled her clit with her wet fingers, but didn’t touch it. Instead, she sucked on her nipple hard and then bit it before letting it go. The pleasure/pain of it bowed her back, and she once again drove her fingers into her hot cunt. She imagined Sam sucking her juices from her pussy as Mitch tortured her breasts with his teeth and fingers. They would both be brutal in their treatment of her. Making sure she came hard and long. She could almost feel Sam’s tongue circling her clit then dipping back into her slit to gather more of her slick nectar. Jackie moaned at the image of Mitch pulling her nipples and twisting them. She could see his eyes dilated and dark with passion staring down into hers as he teased her with his tongue and teeth.

Heat turned to fire in her blood as she began that long climb up to her climax. She wanted it to go on and on, but soon she was thrusting three fingers in and out of her hot, wet cunt as fast as she could manage. Even that wasn’t fast enough. She whimpered in need as she felt the fire grow deep in her womb. Her swollen clit ached for relief as she played all around it but didn’t touch it. Every pass grew closer and closer until she brushed it once, and a spark drew a cry from her lips. Jackie twisted her nipple with her fingers and rubbed her thumb hard over her clit over and over until she exploded in a fiery climax that seemed to go on for ages. Her body bowed and then curled in on itself as she continued to stroke her clit unable to help herself. When at last she stopped, she gasped for breath lying on her side. She couldn’t move her hands, and they lay where she’d exploded, with one on her breast and the other between her legs. Somewhere between recovering from her climax and catching her breath, she fell asleep that way. **** Jackie didn’t think Sunday would ever arrive. She woke up at seven to find the sun shining and her feet and legs not as achy as they had been over the last two days. This was a good thing since they were planning on working over her house in one day. She jumped out of bed and dressed in old jeans and an equally old T-shirt. She would have had to dress up to clean house living with Stewart. She liked the idea of being divorced from him more and more every day. She enjoyed her first sip of coffee just as someone knocked on her kitchen door. She figured it to be the men so she didn’t bother checking to see. When she opened the door, Stewart stalked in with a look of disgust on his face at her clothes. “What are you doing here, Stewart? I told you I will not drop the divorce.”

“We need to talk. I can’t afford a divorce right now. I’m up for partnership at the firm, and it wouldn’t look good for me to get a divorce.” He seemed to expect a reaction from her. “I’m sorry, but that doesn’t change a thing. You should have thought about that precious partnership before you fucked my friend and hit me.” He stalked toward her with his hands curled into fists by his sides. “Drop that divorce for the next three months, and I’ll double the amount you wanted to begin with.” Jackie backed up a few steps and found herself backed against the bar. She wasn’t sure what Stewart would do in the mood he was in. “I’m not going to wait three months to divorce you only to have you fight me for it anyway. Sign the papers, or we’ll go to court over it. That will make good headlines for you.” He actually growled at her and stomped closer. “If you don’t drop it, I’ll make you sorry you were ever born. I’ll run your name through the mud. Those little photos will be all over the Internet.” “I could care less about those photos. You, on the other hand, should care about the ones we have of you in the hot tub with Julia. They will look good next to mine, I’m sure.” Stewart raised his hand to hit her, but someone stopped him. “You touch her, and I’ll break every bone in your body,” Mitch said in a quiet voice. “Who the hell are you?” Stewart jerked his hand from Mitch’s and stepped to the side. Sam walked up on the other side of him. “The man who is going to break you fucking neck if you don’t leave Jackie alone.” “Jackie, tell these men to leave. We have business to discuss.” “They’re here to help me paint my house. I’m not going to tell them to go anywhere. Do you want to stay and help, or are you on your way out now?” Jackie was sick of his attitude.

“This isn’t over yet, Jackie. I’m not signing those papers until I get my partnership.” He backed out of the room. “Then prepare for an all-out Internet war, Stewart,” she called out after him. “Are you okay, Jackie?” Mitch pulled her into his arms. “I’m fine. He didn’t touch me.” Sam walked over and pulled her back into his arms from behind. She felt his warm breath against the back of her neck as he nuzzled her there. “You shouldn’t be opening your doors without knowing who is there. Next time, don’t let him in at all.” “Don’t worry. I don’t plan on it. I thought it was you two when I opened the door. It’s a mistake I won’t make again, I can assure you.” Jackie slipped from between them and grabbed her cup of coffee to take a sip. “Is there more of that?” Mitch asked walking around to the other side of the bar. “Yeah, help yourselves. I’ll put on another pot after you get yours. I’m going to need a second cup myself.” Jackie watched them pour their coffee and couldn’t help that her gaze focused on their cute asses. Sam turned around and caught her staring at them. He grinned and winked. She stuck her tongue out at him and walked into the dining room to start washing down the walls. She looked around and frowned. She hadn’t brought the water in yet. She’d have to go back to the kitchen to fill up the bucket, and that meant dealing with Mitch and Sam again. She wasn’t ready for their antics. She needed another cup of coffee. “I’ll bring the bucket in for you,” Sam called out. Jackie grinned. There was a Santa Claus. She gathered the rags for cleaning and sipped her coffee while she waited on Sam.

When he set it on the floor for her, she dropped a cloth in and bent over to wring it out only to have Sam slip behind her and bring her back against his hard cock. “Sam!” “I couldn’t help myself. You’re bent over just like you asked for it.” “Go away while I clean the walls.” “I’m going to help you so it won’t take so long. Mitch is going to start painting the ceiling in the hall while we’re in here.” Sam yanked her ponytail. They worked in silence for several minutes washing down the walls. Then Mitch stuck his head in the door. “Second pot of coffee is finished. Want another cup, Jackie?” “Yes, please.” She handed him her cup and went back to washing. When he returned the cup to her, she took a few seconds to enjoy the coffee then got back to work. Her arms were already sore from work, and were getting another workout. At this rate, she thought, she would have muscles in her legs and her arms. “Have you thought any more about dating us?” Sam asked out of the blue. “Um, sort of hard not to think about it. It’s a big decision. I just can’t understand why you would want to share the same woman. Don’t you want your own woman to marry and settle down with?” she asked. “I don’t know. We just always wanted the same girl all during high school, and anytime we’ve dated, it’s been with the same woman. We like sharing. It’s just our way, Jackie.” “I guess I don’t see the appeal. Maybe once all this mess is settled with Stewart, we can talk about it then.” “Maybe we can talk about it now,” Sam said as he reached above her to clean the area next to the ceiling she couldn’t get to without a ladder.

“I don’t even know where to begin.” She really didn’t want to get into it right then. It was too soon. “How about the fact that with two men, you’re always assured of someone at your beck and call?” “Right, I can just see you and Mitch at my beck and call.” She laughed at that image. “Seriously, you don’t understand at all,” Sam said. “When we’re with a woman, she’s the most important thing in our lives.” “And when it’s over, there are two holes in her heart,” Jackie said with a sad smile. “Who said it ever has to be over?” Mitch asked quietly in her ear from behind her. Jackie jumped and nearly hit him in the face with the back of her head. “Because as evidenced by my broken marriage, nothing lasts forever.” She knew she sounded bitter, but they were pressuring her. “Jackie, we don’t want a fling with you. We want everything. The whole shebang. We want to marry you and settle down and have children,” Sam told her. “Uh, Sam. I think it’s too soon to be mentioning that.” “I think it’s too late now.” Jackie closed her eyes and tried to will her heart to slow down it’s skittering across her ribcage. “Yeah, I guess it is.” Sam wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her into his arms before brushing her lips with his.

Chapter Nine “Sam?” she whispered against his lips. “Hmm?” “We shouldn’t be doing this. We can’t go anywhere with it.” “Doesn’t mean we can’t play around a little. Nothing heavy. I promise.” He nipped at her lower lip. Jackie opened her mouth in surprise, and he dove in with his tongue. He explored all around her mouth, teasing her with it as he coaxed her to slide along his. She gave in and sparred with him, trying to take control of the kiss only to have him push her up against their clean wall and grind his hardened cock into her belly. If this was just playing around, Jackie thought as she pushed back against him. She could feel her panties grow wet with her cream. She wanted him, and then Mitch was there. He pulled her from Sam and picked her up so that she had to wrap her legs around his waist. He pushed at her with his cock right where it needed to go. Her clit was on fire as he rocked his hips against hers. Sam squeezed behind her and helped hold her up, becoming the wall for them. He nipped at her neck, holding her ponytail aside as he licked and sucked along her shoulder. “Um, guys?” “Hmmm,” Mitch said, kissing the corners of her mouth. “We need to stop now.” She was fast losing her ability to think. Mitch sighed and tilted his pelvis one more time before letting her slide down his body to stand on her own two feet. Sam held her there until she was steady enough not to need the extra help.

“I’m going to die a slow death before waiting on that fucking divorce,” Sam predicted. “I just can’t, Sam. It makes me no better than he is.” “I understand. I just don’t have to like it.” Mitch kissed her on the nose. They worked on the house for the next four hours before stopping to cook out on the grill. As soon as a hot dog was ready, Jackie popped it on a bun and added catsup and mustard before swallowing it down. She ate the next one at a more leisurely pace. She had been starving. When she looked up, the men were staring at her with amused looks on their faces. “What? I was hungry.” “You just looked like you were going to eat the plate, too,” Sam said with a grin. “Bite me.” Sam’s eyes grew dark. “I’d love to, baby. But we’re behaving ourselves, remember?” She drew in a deep breath and let it out on a sigh. “Thanks for that visual, Sam.” Mitch walked over and licked the corner of her mouth. “You had catsup on your mouth,” he said by way of explanation. Jackie could just nod her head. He hadn’t moved away from her. She could smell the beer on his breath now, and wondered what his mouth would taste like with it. Finally, after what seemed like hours, he stepped back, clearly as affected as she was. “I think we need to separate into different rooms after we finish eating,” Mitch said. “I agree.” Jackie spooned potato salad and beans on her paper plate and sat on the bar stool to eat. She felt a little sorry for the guys having to stand up to eat, but she couldn’t help it. She’d get a table and chairs once the dining room was finished. She stopped in mid-motion of eating. She was acting as if they would be over there a lot. She really had to get hold of her

emotions and think along the lines of divorce and not infidelity, which was where she was headed if she didn’t do something quick. **** By the end of the day, her house was all but finished. They’d managed to stay on track, and every room had been cleaned and painted with the exception of her bedroom. She assured them she could handle it over the next few days. Mitch and Sam gathered up their supplies and loaded them in the truck. He wasn’t leaving without a kiss from Jackie. He found her rinsing out the buckets from cleaning the walls. She smiled at him and finished rinsing out the bucket in her hand before setting it aside to dry her hands. “Thanks so much for helping me today, Mitch.” “No problem. We had fun.” He pulled her into his arms and kissed her deeply but softly. He didn’t pressure her or overwhelm her. He just kissed her then pulled back and hugged her to him before letting her go. “I’m going to have to go home and jack off thinking about you.” “God, what a visual. I’ll never get to sleep now.” He grinned and led her outside where they were getting ready to leave. Sam grabbed a quick kiss and a pinch of her ass. They climbed into the truck and backed out of her drive to head home. He wasn’t kidding. He would be jacking off a lot for the next few months. He had to be around her, and that meant his cock would stay hard. “She’s relaxing more around us, Mitch.” “Yeah and she’s actually thinking in terms of dating us. I just think she’s worried about what everyone will think of her.” “We’ve never cared, and they pretty much ignored us,” Sam pointed out. “It’s different for a woman, Sam. You know that.” “Shouldn’t be.”

“Add to that the fact that the last few years she’s had to worry about what people thought, and it’s going to be hard for her to put it behind her.” Mitch let out a deep breath. He was worried about it. What if they did treat her differently? How would he feel about that? Seeing her hurting would drive him crazy. He hadn’t thought about that. If they shunned her or outright called her names, he would move with her. He wouldn’t let them treat her that way. They could pick up and start over if they had to. “You’re awful quiet over there,” Sam said. “Just thinking too hard about it all.” “You’re not having second thoughts about her are you? She’s the one, Mitch. You know that. We’ve been over it all ahead of time.” Sam sounded desperate. “No, I’m not having second thoughts. If we had to pick up and move to somewhere else so people wouldn’t bother her, would you be willing to do that?” “In a heartbeat. Whatever it takes to make her happy.” “It might come to that, brother.” Mitch hoped not though. It would break her heart. They pulled into the drive, and Mitch sat in the truck for a few minutes before getting out. He was hard as a rock, and wanting her so badly it hurt. How long could they hold out before they seduced her? She’d be devastated if she broke her wedding vows before the divorce. Somehow they had to hold out. Maybe it was time for an overnight cattle run? It would keep them away from her for a while. He’d talk to Sam about it in the morning. It helped that Jackie would be busy working over the next week. As much as he hated her working at the grocery store, it kept her out of reach for much of the week now. ****

Jackie worked the next several weeks at the grocery store and came home dead on her feet each day, though it got a little easier as time went by. James kept her informed of the progress, or lack of progress, with the divorce paperwork. The men stayed away for the most part. She saw them once a week and limited the time then. She was close to giving in to their easy loving and didn’t want to push it. They finished the barn and brought Sassy over. They would go horseback riding, and that was another way to keep out of their embraces. Finally, after nearly two months. James called with good news. Stewart had received his partnership and signed the second set of papers with changes. He changed everything to half and he keeps his horse. “Do you want to hold him to the second set or go with what we have?” “Go with what we have, for God’s sake. I want that divorce.” She nearly passed out at the good news. “The court date is set for next month. I’ll attend for you, so you don’t have to go. It will have been three months then, so you should receive your divorce decree immediately.” “Thank God. I really appreciate it, James.” “Well, you can thank me once we get those papers.” Jackie hesitated in letting the men know, but figured it wasn’t fair not to since they’d been so supportive through it all. Yes, they’d pushed her some, but still, they’d supported her decision. She got in her car and drove over to their ranch to let them know. She didn’t think calling was personal enough, and she could admit to herself that she missed them. Nearly as soon as she pulled up, they were out the door to greet her on the porch. “What brings you over here, Jackie? Is everything all right?” Sam demanded.

“Everything’s great. I wanted to tell you that Stewart finally signed the papers.” “Hey! That’s great news. We have to celebrate!” Mitch insisted. “How?” she asked dubiously. “Let’s go out and eat. Morgan’s Steak House has great steaks and fish.” Mitch picked her up and swung her around. “What made him change his mind?” Sam asked. “He got his way, and I had to wait until he got his partnership. He got it, so he signed the papers.” “Son of a bitch. I still think he needs a horse whipping for hitting you,” Mitch said. “Let sleeping dogs lie, Mitch.” Sam took Jackie away from him and hugged her. “So, are you up for a steak dinner?” “Sure. I guess so. I need to go change.” “You look fine like you are,” Sam insisted. “You would think that, but it’s still early, so I’m going home and taking a bath and changing clothes. Give me an hour, then come pick me up.” The men grumbled but agreed. She hurried home to shower and dress. She chose a nice sundress in blue and wore a pair of strappy sandals. She wanted to look nice for them. She styled her hair so that it lay around her shoulders and even applied a little makeup. She thought about it and realized they hadn’t seen her dressed nice since she’d been home. Yet they still wanted her. They wanted the real her. It felt good to be appreciated no matter how she looked. Stewart had always wanted her to look her best and urged her all during college to dress nice. She’d been so starry eyed in love that she didn’t see that he was shaping her into what he wanted in a wife. She had changed her whole life for him, and he’d thrown it away. She sighed and put it out of her mind. She refused to dwell on it now. She had a new life ahead of her.

She was ready when they arrived exactly one hour to the second to take her out. They both came to the door and just stared at her when she walked out and locked the door behind her. “What?” “You look amazing,” Mitch finally got out. “Beautiful,” Sam said. “Thanks.” She felt the heat flush her face. “Let’s go. I don’t want to lose our reservation.” Mitch escorted her to the truck and helped her into the cab. “You made reservations?” “Yeah, wanted to be sure they had a table when we got there.” Sam drove them the twenty minutes it took to get there. They parked, and Mitch helped her out of the truck. She was soon sandwiched between the two of them. They both held her hands as they approached the front entrance. She noticed a few people stare but avert their gazes when she returned their looks. It made her nervous, but she refused to let it mar her evening. When they were escorted to her table, she noticed the stares again, but this time she also noticed another set of three sitting not far from them. They could all be family, but she chose to believe they were a threesome like she, Sam, and Mitch were. “See anything you like?” Mitch asked. “The rib eye sounds good.” She smiled at him. After the waitress took their order, the men launched into a description of their day. She listened, completely interested in their successful business. They’d managed to keep the ranch going after their parents had retired and even enlarge it some. She was proud of their accomplishments. They were good, hardworking men. “What are you thinking about over there?” Mitch asked. “Just that you and Sam have worked hard to make the ranch into what it is today. You have to be very pleased with your efforts.” “We still have a lot of work ahead of us to make it into the best meat-producing ranch in the area.” Mitch smiled.

“I can’t believe it isn’t already.” “Not quite,” Sam said. They settled down to eat their meal and conversation lagged. It was a pleasant quiet, though. She didn’t feel the need to keep up small talk as she had when she was with Stewart. Jackie almost dropped her fork. Why was she comparing everything to when she’d been with Stewart? Mitch and Sam were nothing like Stewart, and comparing them was an insult. She vowed to stop doing it. Stewart and her marriage to him were just about history. Good riddance. “How about stopping by Dirk’s Bar for a nightcap and a dance or two?” Sam suggested. “I’d love to, but I’ve got to be at work in the morning. I really need to call it a night. Maybe another night?” “We’ll hold you to it.” Sam signaled for the check. “When are you off again?” Mitch asked. “I’m actually off Saturday this week.” “We’ll have to plan something special.” Mitch reached over and took her hand in his. “Not much longer till you’re free and clear of that asshole.” “I’m not going to hold my breath. He’s unpredictable. I’m praying that he doesn’t mess anything up.” “I’ll personally make him sorry if he does,” Sam promised. They stood to leave, and Jackie noticed the other threesome getting ready to leave as well. The woman looked over at her and winked. Jackie had been right. They were together. It gave her just a little bit more strength to hold her head up as they walked out of the restaurant. She had nothing to be ashamed of. They were all just jealous. The drive home seemed to speed by, and they were pulling into her drive in no time. She enjoyed the closeness of sitting between them in the truck. Granted it made for some major temptation, but she didn’t mind. Of course, the men probably did. She bit her lip to keep from smiling.

Mitch helped her out of the truck, holding on to her just a little longer than was necessary. They both walked her to the door. She knew better than to ask them in. They’d end up making out, and she was already weak where they were concerned. “I had a lovely time. The food was delicious and the company even better.” She pulled out her key. Mitch took it from her and unlocked the door for her. He brushed her breast as he leaned in for a kiss. His lips brushed softly over hers before he nipped at her lower lip. Jackie couldn’t help the groan that escaped her mouth. He backed her against Sam but didn’t touch her with his hands. Instead, he pressed the entire length of his body against hers and delved between her lips for a deeper kiss. His hard cock pressed tightly against her pelvis. He dipped his pelvis and ran it upward until it rubbed against her clit. She drew in a deep breath and pressed back. Sam’s dick dug deep between the cheeks of her ass leaving no doubt where he wanted to be right then. She pressed back and rolled her hips, delighting in the sharp intake of his breath. “We’ve got to stop this before I take you right here on your front porch,” Mitch said in a deep voice. “I could come just rubbing my cock against your ass, Jackie.” Sam rubbed again. “I need to go inside and get some rest. Thanks to you two, I’ll probably lay awake thinking about you all night. I’ll be worthless in the morning at work.” “We aim to please.” Mitch kissed her quick and hard then backed up. Sam turned her around and took his kiss at a more leisurely pace. He sipped at her lips then licked along the seam before placing open mouthed kisses along her jaw line down to her neck. When he drew back, his eyes were dark and lazy.

Jackie knew exactly how he felt. She was so turned on she doubted she’d sleep even if she masturbated. It wouldn’t be enough. Nothing would be now until they buried themselves deep inside her.

Chapter Ten They ended up busy with the cattle for the next few weeks, making the month pass by faster. Sam didn’t know how they would have managed otherwise. He and Mitch called Jackie each night and talked for what seemed like hours. The night before the court date, she called them, nervous and worried. “I’m just so scared he’ll do something to screw it up.” “Don’t worry so much, baby. He probably wants it as badly as you do by now.” Mitch prayed it was so. “What did you and Mitch do today?” “Same thing we did yesterday. I don’t want to talk about the ranch. I want to talk about you and what you’re wearing right now.” Mitch hoped to distract her with some much-needed phone sex. “I just got out of the shower, so all I have on is my robe.” Her voice had gone husky. “Hmm, take off your robe and lie on the bed for me.” He pulled out his dick and squeezed the base of it. “Okay, I’m on the bed. What are you doing?” “I just pulled out my cock. It’s hard and throbbing.” “Are you stroking it?” God, her voice, it was driving him crazy, all husky and low like it was. “I’m squeezing it to keep from coming too soon. I want to hear you come first. Play with your tits, baby.” “I’m rubbing and squeezing them. They want your mouth on them,” she said.

Mitch stroked his cock several times then rubbed the pre-cum around the crown and stroked again. His balls were already tight. It wouldn’t take much more for him to come. “Are your nipples hard?” “They’re all beaded up, and I’m pinching them. It feels so good. I can feel it all the way to my pussy.” “You’ve got big breasts, baby. Can you suck them?” He bet she could. He’d have to get her to do that for him and Mitch one night. “Mmm, it feels good, but I’ll like it better when you and Mitch do it.” “Trust me. We can’t wait. I’m stroking my dick faster now. I can feel the cum boiling in my balls. Just thinking about your mouth on your nipples has me hot.” “I wish I could watch you,” Jackie told him. “I’ll do it for you anytime you want to watch. Play with your pretty pussy for me. Let me hear you tell me what it feels like.” “Oh, it feels so good. I’m wet and so turned on that if I touch my clit, I’m going to come.” She moaned over the phone. Sam pulled harder on his cock and shoved a hand into his jeans to roll his balls. God, he wanted her. His throbbing dick would never last at the feel of her tight pussy wrapped around it. He drew in a deep breath and tried to hold back his climax until she came. He wanted to hear her cry out first. “Put two fingers in your cunt, baby. Fuck yourself for me.” “I’m fucking myself. God, I want your cock inside of me. I’m so wet.” “There you go, baby. Fuck harder, faster. I’m getting close. I want to hear you scream.” “I’m so close. Please let me come, Sam. I need to come.” “Rub your clit with your other hand and make yourself come. Do it now.” The next thing he heard was her sharp yell of “yes, Sam” as she screamed out her climax. Sam squeezed his balls and jerked his cock

hard and fast. Streams of cum shot out onto his abdomen as he shouted out her name. “Oh, Sam, God I want you and Mitch so badly. I never knew I would need someone like this.” “We’ll take care of you, baby. Just wait. As soon as the ink is on the paper, we’ll fuck you long and hard.” He grabbed some tissue and cleaned up. “I can’t wait,” she said in a soft voice. “Think you can sleep now?” he asked. “Um hm, but I’ll dream of you and Mitch. I do every night now.” “I dream of you, too. Get some sleep. I’ll talk to you tomorrow. Night, baby.” He turned off the phone and headed for the shower. His cock was still semi-erect. He wasn’t satisfied, and wouldn’t be until he was buried balls deep inside of her. **** The next day Jackie waited all morning for a call from James telling her the paperwork was signed and she was a free woman. By lunch time, she was a nervous wreck. She contemplated calling him, but decided if he knew anything, he would have called. Something had gone wrong. She’d known it was too good to be true. She made it to quitting time at three and drove home near tears. She kept expecting for one of the men to call her and ask about the divorce, but they didn’t call, either. It hurt a little, but she knew they were busy with the ranch. To keep from dwelling on everything, Jackie tried reading, but couldn’t get into the book, so she started cleaning the bathroom. She kept glancing at her cell phone to be sure she wasn’t missing a call and that it really was turned on. Finally at a quarter till five, James’s name and number flashed on the screen when it rang. She nearly dropped the phone picking it up.

“Yes? Please tell me everything is okay.” “You’re a free woman. I’m sorry it took so long, but they heard divorce proceedings last.” “But you have the paperwork signed and everything in your hand?” She needed to know for certain. “It’s all legal and in my hands. I’ll have your copies ready for you tomorrow by nine if you want to pick them up then,” he promised her. “I’ll be by to get them. I’m off tomorrow and Saturday. I knew I’d be a nervous wreck, so I took off work. I think my manager wished I had taken off today as well. I was a basket case.” “I’m sorry. I should have called and let you know what was going on.” “That’s okay. Everything is okay now. I’m really free.” “I take it you’re going to be dating Mitch and Sam.” His voice sounded strained. “Yes, why?” She wasn’t sure she liked that he was asking. “They’re good men. I just want you to realize that it won’t be easy being in a ménage relationship in this town. People are going to talk.” “I appreciate you’re being candid about this, but I don’t think it’s anyone’s business.” “I’ll take that as not being my business, either. I just wanted you to know that I don’t see anything wrong with it, but others might. I’ll have those papers ready for you in the morning, Jackie.” “Thanks, James. I didn’t mean to be so short. I’m just still getting used to the idea, I guess.” She felt guilty now that she had snapped at him. “No problem. Good night.” They hung up, and Jackie stood there letting it all sink in. She was free. Really and truly free of Stewart and his controlling, selfish, cheating self. Now she wanted to call and tell the men. She dialed Sam’s number, but it went to voice mail. She called Mitch next, and it did the same thing. She didn’t bother leaving messages. She wanted to

tell them in person. She would give them time to get home then go over and surprise them. Jackie danced to the bathroom and ran a tub full of hot water and sprinkled in some scented bath salts. She slipped into the tub and bathed before just soaking in the warm, scented water. She thought about them and wondered what they were doing that kept them from their phones. Usually they answered her call even if they were busy. When the water cooled, she climbed out and dried off. Picking out what to wear took her a little longer. She wanted something teasing, but easy to get out of. She hoped they would want to make love tonight. Maybe she expected too much. They’d probably be tired from a long week of working. This was some sort of special time during the year for them on the ranch. She finally settled on a halter dress that was cut low in the front and could be removed with one button and a quick zip. She added strappy sandals and brushed her hair out until it shone. She knew they liked it down. They insisted on pulling out the ponytail holder every chance they got. She glanced at the clock and realized she had another hour before she figured she should head in their direction. Nothing interested her on TV, and the book still didn’t hold her captive. She paced back and forth until finally, she felt like if she drove slowly it would be safe to go. Jackie opened the door to leave, and there on her porch stood Mitch and Sam looking anxious and eager all at the same time. “I was just on my way over there. You didn’t answer your phones earlier.” She was babbling. “Um, can we come in?” Mitch asked. “Oh, of course.” She backed up and let them close the door behind them. “So?” Mitch asked as soon as they’d closed the door. “The papers are signed and in James’s hands. I’m free.”

“Hot damn!” Mitch picked her up and twirled her around. Then Sam grabbed her and danced her across the room. “Feel up to going out to celebrate? We can go to the bar and order burgers and beer and dance,” Sam suggested. “Um, yeah. That sounds good.” Jackie pretended enthusiasm. She really wanted to stay there and make love, but waiting wouldn’t kill her. If they noticed her less-than-excited reaction to the idea, they didn’t show it. Instead they ushered her out of the house and locked the door behind them. All the way to the bar, Jackie asked herself why she didn’t want to go. Finally she admitted it was that she wasn’t comfortable being seen with both of them in an obvious relationship. What was she going to do if they wanted to make it more permanent? When they arrived, she hesitated at getting out of the truck when Mitch held out his hand to her. He gave her a questioning look. Jackie smiled and scooted over so that he could swing her out of the truck to the ground. Sam was there waiting on her, and they both grabbed a hand to walk her into the bar. There was already a large crowd when they walked in, and finding a table proved to be difficult. Finally one opened up near the back. They grabbed the chairs with Sam helping her in hers. A waitress walked up with a harried expression on her face. “What can I get you?” “Three burgers, three beers, and a basket of fries.” Sam ordered for them. “Got ya.” She walked off to the next table. “So, what was your day like?” Sam asked. “Horrible.” She laughed. “Until I got the phone call from James. They didn’t hear the divorce cases until last, so it was five before he called me.” “You were worried all day for nothing.” Mitch put his arm across the back of her chair.’ “Yeah, but I couldn’t help it. I was a nervous wreck.”

“So, when are you off again?” Sam asked. “I took off this Friday and Saturday, and since Sunday is my usual day off, I’m free for the weekend. I wanted time to spend with the two of you.” Sam and Mitch looked at each other and winced. “What?” she asked. “We have to go to a cattle sell this weekend. We didn’t realize it was on this weekend, or we would have re-scheduled it.” Sam shifted in his chair. “Oh. Well, okay. There’s nothing we can do about it.” “Would you like to go with us?” Mitch asked, rubbing her shoulder with the hand he had draped over it. “I don’t want to get in the way.” “You wouldn’t be in the way, and we would have our nights free. We’ll take you out to eat and go dancing. You’ll love it.” Sam pressed a kiss to the palm of her hand. “I don’t know. I have to be at work Monday morning at seven. What time would we be getting back Sunday night?” “It might be late. But you can sleep on the way back.” Mitch looked hopeful. She hated to disappoint them, and to be honest she would be disappointed too if she didn’t go. What would she do all day though while they were at the sale? Shop maybe? “Okay. I’ll go. What time are we leaving in the morning?” she asked. “Not till around ten. We don’t have to be there until three to register. Then we’ll look at some of the cattle up for sale before we go out to eat and check in the hotel.” “Then we better make it an early night here so I can make it out of bed in time.” Jackie smiled and leaned back into Mitch’s arm. “We were kind of hoping you’d stay over with us, then we can make sure you get up in time in the morning.” Sam flicked a glance Mitch’s way.

“Oh, um, sure. That sounds like a good idea. I’ll need to pack, though.” “We’ll eat and dance a couple of dances, then leave,” Mitch said. “Sounds like a plan,” Sam added. He squeezed her hand. Their meal arrived a few minutes later and Jackie forced as much of the hamburger down as she could. Her mouth was dry, and no amount of beer helped. She was nervous about later now that it was nearly time. She knew they’d have sex tonight. She had been more than ready earlier, but now she was antsy about it. When Sam pulled her up to dance, she realized she’d had a little too much beer. She was good and tipsy. Sam laughed when he realized it, but pulled her along anyway. They danced close to the slow song. He nibbled her ear and kept his hands at the small of her back, just above her ass. When the song was over, Mitch was there cutting in for the next one. It was a little faster, but he danced it slow, moving his body against hers. Jackie moved with him, enjoying the slide of his body against hers. When the song finally ended, she was turned on and ready to leave. Maybe that was what Mitch had been aiming for because as soon as they returned to the table, he nodded his head toward the door. Sam stood up and took her hand as they made their way through the crowd. Despite the noise, she heard several comments about them as they threaded their way along. Most of them were shocked that she’d danced so intimately with both of them and was obviously leaving with both of them. Some, though, were downright crude. She could tell her face was red by the heat that crawled up her neck. Evidently the men had heard the comments as well, because their faces were tight when they got under the light by the door as they walked out. Jackie struggled to act as if she hadn’t heard anything. Instead, she squeezed their hands and pulled them closer to her as they walked toward the truck.

Mitch helped her in then climbed in beside her. She leaned into him, then into Sam when he climbed in on the driver’s side. Mitch draped an arm around her shoulders and kissed her forehead. “Don’t let them upset you, Jackie.” Sam finally spoke as he cranked the truck. “I’m not. People are bound to talk, though. I can’t get away from it, so I just have to accept it.” “I don’t like people talking about you like that,” Mitch said in a near growl. “Don’t let it ruin our night, Mitch. I’m fine.” He let out a breath, but was clearly not happy by the thin line of his lips and furrowed brow. Jackie squeezed his hand with both of hers and laid soft kisses along his jaw. He relaxed some and pulled her over as far as the seatbelt would allow her to go. “I can’t wait to get you home,” he said. “I can’t wait to get there.” He tilted her head up and kissed her. Then with a sigh, he let her go, and settled her back into her seat where she was more comfortable. They reached her house in less than the time it took to reach the bar, and Jackie wondered just how fast Sam had driven. She smiled to herself. They were as antsy as she was to be alone. Maybe, if she played her cards right, she could speed things up, and they wouldn’t be able to wait till they were at their house. There was nothing wrong with her bed.

Chapter Eleven Sam took the key from her and unlocked the door then reached in and flipped on the light. She led them through the house to her bedroom. Mitch immediately disappeared into the closet and pulled down her suitcase. “Do you need one or two?” he asked with an indulgent smile. “One should do me fine.” She shook her head at his wide eyes. “You’ll want to pack cool clothes. It’s hot out there in the stands,” Sam told her. “Oh and make sure we get your hat,” Mitch added. “It won’t take me but a minute to pack. Do you mind if I change into shorts and a T-shirt now? I’d rather not leave my dress over at your place, and I don’t want to pack it in the suitcase.” “No, make yourself comfortable, baby.” Sam kissed her temple and walked over and leaned against the door facing to the bathroom. Jackie turned around and walked toward the closet where Mitch was standing. She stopped in front of him. She turned around and lifted her hair. “Would you unbutton and unzip me, please?” “My pleasure.” She noticed his voice sounded a bit strained. She bit her lower lip to keep from smiling. Then she walked away from him and let the top of the dress fall to her waist. She stepped out of it and laid it carefully over a chair. She stood with her back to both men now in nothing but a halter bra and thong. It didn’t surprise her a bit to hear Sam clear his throat.

She bent over in front of the dresser to pull out a drawer to look for a pair of shorts. That was all it took. Both men were on her in less than a second. “Fuck!” Sam’s mouth laid wet kisses along her spine, his hands gripping her hips. Mitch pulled her up taking both breast in his hands and gave them a gentle squeeze. “I have to have this off.” He unfastened the bra and peeled the cups back, exposing her aching nipples. “Mitch. I’m not waiting till we get home. I’m so fucking hard now I’ll never be able to drive.” Sam’s voice came out raspy. “No objection from me. What about you, baby? Do you want to wait?” He bent down and latched on to one of her nipples with his teeth and sucked it into his mouth. “God, no!” She nearly went to her knees, but Sam held her up. “Easy there, Jackie. We’ve got you. We’ll take good care of you.” Sam wrapped one arm around her waist and pulled her bra the rest of the way off with the other hand. Then he reached down in her panties and cupped her mound. “Aw, damn. She waxes, Mitch. I’ve got to have some sweet pussy.” Sam pulled her from Mitch’s embrace and picked her up. He laid her on the bed. Mitch moved the suitcase to the floor. He climbed on the bed and went right back to sucking and licking her breasts. His fingers plucked the nipple of one breast as his mouth sucked on the other nipple. The combined effect drove her crazy. She grabbed his head and held him to her. Sam tugged off her thong and spread her legs so he could fit his broad shoulders between them. Then he blew across her wet cunt with his warm breath. The stirring air cooled against her body. She shivered and moaned. “I can smell how hot you are, Jackie. I can’t wait to taste.”

He gently nipped her mound before licking her slit all the way to her clit, but stopped just short of going over it. Then he stiffened his tongue and fucked her with it over and over. She wiggled, trying to get more of him, but he pulled back with a chuckle. Mitch was dividing his attention between her heavy breasts. He pushed them close together and moved from one nipple to the other with his mouth. He licked, sucked, and nipped until she was shaking her head back and forth, unsure how to move. Between the two of them she could feel her climax roaring up toward her. The more Sam licked at her pussy, the higher she seemed to climb. With every lick and suck of Mitch’s mouth, she grew tighter inside. She didn’t want it to end. The ride up was thrilling and a bit scary as both men redoubled their efforts at consuming her. Sam thrust two fingers deep in her cunt and began to fuck her in and out with them. She couldn’t stop squeezing around his fingers, wanting something larger in their place. Still, he continued pumping while his tongue gathered her juices as fast as they flowed from her. When he curled his fingers up and found her hot spot, she nearly came unglued. The sensation of his fingers stroking her there threw her into climaxing before she was ready. He didn’t stop. Instead, he began sucking her clit until she was screaming out his name. Mitch got into it by pinching her nipples with his fingers, then leaned in and kissed her, swallowing the rest of her scream. The pleasure went on and on. Jackie wasn’t sure it would ever stop, but finally, they eased her back until she was panting to catch her breath. They kissed and nuzzled her until she was breathing more normally. Then Sam grinned at her and began undressing. “There’s no way you’re getting out of here without being thoroughly fucked.” “I’m so ready.” “What about for me?” Mitch pulled his shirt off and began unfastening his jeans.

“Both of you. I can’t wait.” Jackie reached for Mitch as soon as he had kicked off his boots and pulled down his jeans. She felt Sam nudge her legs apart once again, and looked down to see that he was totally naked and had donned a condom while she’d been watching Mitch undress. He lifted one of her legs and lodged his thick cock at her slit. Mitch knelt on the bed next to her head. She reached for his cock, wanting to taste him. He leaned toward her, and she licked him from his balls to the top of his dick. “There you go. Lick it, baby.” She licked it again then dipped into the slit at the top for the pearl of pre-cum that had formed there. He hissed and threw back his head when she did it. His mushroom cap was nearly purple in color, and when she took it in her mouth, the heat was scalding. She swallowed around it then sucked it down her throat. God, he tasted so good. How would Sam taste? Sam thrust forward and took her mind off of Mitch and his delicious cock. He fought to push inside her and cursed when he only made it halfway. “Fuck, you’re tight!” He pulled back and pushed forward again. This time he made it to her womb. The slight bump was a sweet pleasure/pain she had never felt before. His dick tunneled in and out of her cunt over and over. He made long, slow, deep thrusts. Sam touched all her nerve endings, and when he adjusted his angle, he even hit her hot spot on the way out. “It feels so freaking good. Please, more.” She had let go of Mitch’s dick long enough to beg him for more. Mitch wrapped his hand around hers on his cock and steadied it for her to take inside her mouth again. Then he let go and began facefucking her in quick, measured thrusts that just touched at the back of her throat. “That’s it, suck me, baby. You can take me. Take it all.” Mitch’s voice was raspy and thick.

She grazed him with her teeth and at his indrawn breath, she swallowed around him. Then she reached up with her other hand and squeezed his balls. Cum shot from his swollen cock deep into her throat as he roared out her name. She swallowed all of it then licked around him to clean him up. He collapsed half on and half off the bed, running his hands through her hair over and over again. “Damn, that was so fucking good.” Sam took advantage of her no longer having Mitch’s cock in her mouth and began pummeling her with his thick cock. He grabbed hold of her legs and held on to her to keep her from moving up in the bed as he fucked her harder and faster. Jackie couldn’t be still. She was aching all over with need to climax again. She’d never thought she would be able to again so soon after the first time, but it was almost as if the last one only prepared her for this one. She could feel it building inside of her layer by layer. Fire burned inside her veins as her heart pumped it through her body. She could feel every beat in every cell as Sam filled her over and over with his thick dick. She couldn’t stand it. She reached down to rub her clit. She rubbed all around the little nub nearly crying with frustration. She needed something more. She wanted more. “Please. I need to come. It’s killing me.” Mitch crawled over to the other side of her and began teasing her nipples with his fingers. He pulled and pinched and twisted them until she couldn’t tell where pain stopped and the pleasure began. She pressed hard on her clit and fire exploded from within her. She came so hard she swore she saw stars behind her eyelids. Then she felt Sam come inside the condom, and it sent another wave of electric shocks through her system. Over and over, it jerked her against Sam’s body as he strained above her. When she finally managed to breathe a full breath, she could only whisper. “Oh. My. God.”

The three of them collapsed on the bed once more. Mitch pulled Jackie in against his body and stroked her side while kissing her neck and shoulder. Sam laid his head on her inner thigh and held it in his arms as he recovered. Jackie didn’t have the heart to tell him her leg was going to sleep. It felt wonderful to have him holding her there as if just any part of her was worth the effort just to be near her. She had never felt so wanted in her life. “We’ve really got to get home and in the bed. To sleep.” Mitch spoke into the silence only marred by their heavy breathing. “I’ll move in a minute, brother. I’m dead right now.” “I still have to pack,” Jackie pointed out. “Shouldn’t take you long. All you need are jeans or shorts and Tshirts. We’ll be at the auction and then the hotel, and that’s about it.” Mitch tugged on her hair. “Move, Sam. I need to dress and pack.” She shoved at him playfully with her hand as she tried to sit up. “Okay, okay. I’m moving.” He slid off the bed, reaching for his jeans at the same time. Jackie dressed quickly in shorts and a tank top, then added jeans and shorts with several tees to her suitcase. As soon as she had her bathroom supplies in the bag, Mitch was zipping it and carrying it toward the door. “Is he in a hurry or what?” Jackie asked. “We’re both anticipating sleeping with you in our arms tonight.” Sam nuzzled her neck and nipped her. “What is so exciting about sleeping with me after what we just had?” She really didn’t get it. “Waking up next to you in the morning.” Mitch led the way to the front door. “Okay. I could get into waking up between you two hot studs,” she teased.

“Just wait till you have both of us inside you at the same time,” Sam whispered next to her ear as they walked out the door. Jackie’s step faltered at that thought. Her heart stuttered in her chest. Both of them? Oh, God. “Lock up, Sam.” Mitch carried her bag to the truck and put it in the back seat. Then he picked Jackie up and slid her into the truck, climbing in behind her. Sam drove them over to their house and parked the truck in front of the house. “We’ll load the trailer up in the morning. We’ll be pulling it to bring back whatever we buy,” Mitch explained. They stripped as soon as they hit the bedroom. She recognized it as the master bedroom, but it was so much different from when she’d been a teenager and in and out of their house all the time. The colors were muted shades of greens and gold. The hardwood floors had been refinished, and shone in the dimmed overhead light. She let Sam pick her up and put her to bed between him and Mitch. He turned her so that she wrapped her arms around Mitch, and Sam spooned her from behind. It felt so natural to be in bed with them and touching them. A finger of unease trailed down her spine, though. This wasn’t a forever type of relationship. This was a temporary fling. There was no way they could maintain a threesome forever. The thought of not being with them bothered her, though. She’d waited so long during the divorce to be with them that the idea of it being over anytime soon scared her. And that scared her even more.

Chapter Twelve They carried Jackie into town the next morning before starting out on their trip. She insisted that they wait in the truck. “I’ll only be a minute. There’s no use in all of us tromping in.” By eight thirty, they were on the road, complete with breakfast sandwiches, coffee, and their luggage. Waking up with Jackie in his arms had been the closest he’d ever been to heaven. Mitch could still feel her arms wrapped around his waist with her head on his chest. It was the tickle of her hair against his nose that had awakened him. He wanted that every morning. Somehow they would have to convince Jackie that they could make a ménage work. He knew she only saw this as a brief affair. Neither he nor Sam had ever intended it to be anything but a permanent relationship. Sam would marry her, since he was the oldest, but they would all be married as far as he was concerned. Mitch had been in love with Jackie since she was a teenager. The few years’ difference in their ages hadn’t mattered back then, and certainly didn’t matter now. He only prayed it wouldn’t matter to her. He had a feeling that age wouldn’t be the snagging point in the coming argument. They pulled into Billings, Montana, around nine thirty and parked outside a large stockyard filled with cows, horses, and hundreds of people. Mitch couldn’t wait to get registration over with and look at the animals. He and Sam wanted some new blood in their herd. They felt like a new bull and a few heifers would help to strengthen their bloodlines. Their bull was strong and in good shape, but they thought

to add a younger bull and sell the one they had now. First, they wanted to find a new one “Do you want to follow us around or sit inside in the air conditioning where they’re auctioning off some horses?” Mitch asked once they’d registered and gotten their packet. “I’ll go sit in the air conditioned building. You can come get me when you’re ready.” She gave each of them a hug and a kiss. Then she waved and walked off, leaving them in the heat. Mitch couldn’t take his eyes off of her ass as she walked away. Damn, she was beautiful. She was made perfect for them. “All right, brother. Mind off of sex and onto bulls.” Sam grabbed him by the shoulder and chuckled. “Tell me you aren’t thinking the same thing I am.” “Can’t do it. I’m already looking forward to tonight. I want in that sweet ass of hers, but I think that’s going to have to wait till we get back home. She needs prepping.” “Wait till she wraps her lips around your dick. You’ll think twice about her ass.” Mitch grabbed the packet from Sam’s hands and began flipping through it, searching for the bulls. “Do you get the feeling she isn’t taking this seriously?” Sam asked. “What do you mean?” Mitch knew exactly what he was talking about. It had been bothering him all along. “I don’t think she believes this is real. She is looking at this like it’s only temporary. Don’t you usually go into a relationship with the belief that it might be the one?” “Yeah, I know. She doesn’t think a ménage relationship will work. She probably thinks we don’t look at it as more than a fling.” “What do we do about it?” Sam asked. “I don’t know. I was thinking along the lines of loving her so much that she can’t imagine being without us. Then easing her into the idea of moving in with us.” Mitch stopped at a pen where a young

bull stood chewing on some hay. He snorted when they leaned on the fence. “As plans go, it sounds like a good one to me. Besides, I don’t have a better one.” Sam took the packet back from Mitch and read up on the bull in front of them. “If she is so used to being around us all the time, she’ll miss us even for a few hours. I hate that she’s working at that grocery store. That pulls her away from us a lot.” “I just don’t like the idea of her having to work in the first place,” Sam muttered. “I’m in agreement there, brother.” They walked around looking at the various cows and bulls. Sam marked in the packet the ones they were most interested in. They’d see how the bidding went and decide then on which ones to bid on. For the present time, they were through for the day. Sam headed to the parking lot to start the truck to cool it off while Mitch went in search of Jackie. He found her standing at the rail, talking to another woman holding a horse. It was a prime piece of horse flesh, too. “Hey, Mitch. This is Stella and her horse, Lady Tiffany.” Mitch wrapped an arm around her and held out his hand through the fence to shake Stella’s. “Pleased to meet you. Nice looking girl. You selling her?” “Not a chance. She’s really good around other horses, so I’m helping out with the auction.” “We were just talking about horse breeding. If I had the money and the time, I’d love to start a small breeding farm,” Jackie told him. “Really? I didn’t know you were interested in breeding horses.” Mitch was surprised. “I used to think about it a lot before I married, and well, that was that. Now, I don’t have the money or the time, just the want to.” She waved as Stella was called to assist a shy horse. “Besides, I don’t know a lot about it. I know more about cattle than raising horses. I’d

have to do a lot of preparation work before I could even think about breeding horses.” “You should look into it. Read up on it and decide what kind of program you’d like to have. Never hurts to be prepared.” Mitch smiled and drew her along beside him. “Did you buy a bull yet?” she asked with a smirk on her face. “Not yet. We found a few we’re interested in, though.” “Great. When do you actually bid on them?” “Two of them are tomorrow. If we buy one tomorrow, we might not stay tomorrow night. If not, the third one is Sunday morning.” “Where is Sam?” She seemed to realize they were missing him. “He went on ahead to start the truck and get the air going so it wouldn’t be so hot inside when we got there.” “In other words, when I got there. That’s so sweet of you two.” With a grin she popped him on the ass. “Hey, we don’t want you to wilt on us. We have plans for you later.” Mitch chuckled when she rolled her eyes at him. “That’s a guy for you, sex on the brain.” She laughed and jogged a little ahead when he grabbed her ass. Mitch couldn’t remember the last time he’d had so much fun with a woman. Normally they were too uncomfortable around them to relax. They were fine in the bedroom when it was just them, but not out in public. So far, Jackie hadn’t frozen up on them. Of course, they’d only been out together three times now. Maybe he was celebrating too soon. “What are you frowning about? Is something wrong?” “No, nothing’s wrong. Just thinking about the logistics of dealing with two bulls on the ranch at one time.” “Um hmm.” She didn’t sound like she believed him. They arrived at the truck, and Mitch helped her inside. It was fairly cool inside after coming from outside in the heat. “Thanks for cooling the truck off for me, Sam.” Jackie leaned over and kissed him.

Mitch smiled when Sam took advantage and pulled her in closer for a more intimate kiss. His brother was looking forward to tonight as well. “How about lunch, then on to check in at the hotel?” Mitch suggested. Sam let Jackie slide back into her seat. Mitch buckled her up, then himself. Sam pulled out of the parking lot, heading for a burger joint they liked to go to when they were in the vicinity. “Sounds good to me,” Sam agreed. “Where are we going?” Mitch stretched his arm along the back of the seat. “Joe’s Burgers. It’s just a joint, but they have the best beef I’ve had in a burger outside of our own.” “Not very proud of your own cows, are you?” she asked, grinning. “Hey, we grow good, lean beef,” Sam insisted. “How does a fat bull help make a lean cow?” Jackie asked in a teasing voice. Mitch tugged on her ponytail. “Smart-ass.” “Just saying.” Sam pulled into the parking lot of a little building with Joe’s Burgers on the sign. There were several other trucks already parked in front. Sam parked next to one of them and cut the engine. “I’m starved. I hope they are as good as you claim they are.” Jackie unfastened her seat belt and let Mitch help her down. Mitch looked at Sam. They hadn’t thought about what sort of reaction they’d get with her between them at Joe’s. Men were less cruel than other women, but they could be crude. Neither one of them wanted to end up in a fight. With a sigh, he escorted Jackie into the building and found them a table in the back. Sam tried to hang back some, but Jackie pulled him up with them, obviously not thinking about what other people thought. If she really meant that, half the battle was won, Mitch thought. If she just hadn’t

thought about it. This could end up a disaster. He pulled out her chair and hoped for the best. **** Jackie sat down and smiled at Mitch for pulling out her chair. Sam sat on one side of her, and Mitch to the other side. He handed her a menu from between the napkin holder and ketchup bottle. Neither of them took one. At her raised eyebrow, Sam chuckled. “We’ve been here so much we know it by heart. We always get the same thing anyway.” “Look it over. You might rather have something besides a hamburger,” Mitch suggested. She read over it and decided on Joe’s Jr. Burger and an order of fries. When the waitress stopped by, she was ready, so they all ordered along with their drinks. “So do the bulls you’re looking at have names yet, or do you only name them if you own them?” she asked. The waitress returned with their beer. “They usually already have names. It’s part of their breeding paperwork.” Sam took a drink of his beer. “So once they have names, you’re stuck with them?” “No, if we really wanted to change them we could, but it takes money and paperwork,” Mitch explained. “I suppose it would be the same way with horses then, too.” “Our Jackie is interested in having a horse farm,” Mitch told Sam. “Really? I didn’t know you wanted to breed horses.” “I sort of thought I would do that when I got out of school. Use my business degree to own a breeding business. Wishful thinking.” Jackie was embarrassed now that she’d told Mitch about it. “I don’t see why you couldn’t have a small breeding stock, Jackie. You need to do some research, but you can do anything you want to.

You’re certainly smart enough.” Sam reached across the table and squeezed her hand. “It takes money, and I don’t have a lot of that right now. Maybe one day when I’ve gotten on my feet.” “With your divorce settlement, that might not be that far in the future.” She bit her lower lip and looked around for the first time at the building. There were only a few tables empty. Most of the tables held three or four men. They seemed to all be staring at her. Jackie quickly looked down at the table. “What’s wrong?” Sam asked. “Nothing.” “Don’t lie to me, Jackie.” Sam frowned. “Everyone is looking at us,” she whispered. “You’re the only woman in here, and you’re beautiful. I’d worry if they didn’t stare,” Mitch said. Sam nodded. “Don’t let it bother you, baby.” “Okay.” She licked her lips and sipped her beer. It really didn’t matter what anyone thought about her anymore. She wasn’t in the public eye like before. She could be whoever she wanted to be, and do whatever she wanted to do. When they had finished and were ready to leave, she made it a point to hold both men’s hands as they left. She was sure some of the men in there were talking about her, probably even calling her a slut or whore. She refused to care. Besides, the chances she would ever see any of those men again were nil and none. When they arrived at the hotel, a new problem came up. Sam started to get out of the truck, and Mitch stopped him. “Sam, maybe you should get the room, and we’ll call and find out what room and come up in a few minutes.” “Why?” she asked. “I figured you wouldn’t want them to know you were staying in the same room with us with only a single king bed.”

“Oh. Um, does it matter to either of you if anyone knows?” “No, it doesn’t matter to us. But I know it matters to you,” Sam said. “Well, if it doesn’t matter to you, then it doesn’t matter to me. Let’s go.” She pushed against Mitch. “Baby, are you sure?” Sam asked. “Let’s go. This is a nice hotel. They shouldn’t lift an eyebrow.” She hoped they wouldn’t, anyway. Jackie wasn’t so sure once they were inside heading for the counter. Mitch held her back and let Sam go all the way to the desk alone. They could hear him, but were several yards away. “I’m checking in. I reserved a king.” “How many, sir?” “Three.” “I have you down for tonight and tomorrow night. Is that correct, sir?” “That’s right.” Mitch squeezed her hand. “See? I told you they wouldn’t say anything.” Jackie still felt the warmth in her face that said she was blushing. “You’re sure you’re okay with this? We could get another room.” “Do you want to have separate rooms?” “Hell, no.” Mitch chuckled. “I want you as close as I can get you.” “You guys ready? I have our key cards.” Sam walked up carrying an envelope with the key cards in it. Jackie walked between them with Mitch behind her to the elevators. They waited for the doors to open and a young couple walked up and ended up getting on the elevator with them. They smiled and nodded, but didn’t strike up a conversation, for which Jackie was eternally grateful. Fortunately, they got off on the floor below them. Jackie released a breath when they were inside the room. She hadn’t even realized she’d been holding it. She was such a hypocrite.

She told the men that it didn’t matter if anyone knew or saw them together, but obviously it really did. She had to get past it if she was going to date them. It wasn’t like it would be forever. Would it? “How do you like the room?” Mitch asked. “It’s really nice. Larger than I would have expected.” “Let’s get unpacked and settled in,” Sam said. “Is it even worth unpacking if you’re going to possibly leave tomorrow anyway?” Jackie asked. “If you don’t mind dressing out of your suitcase, then don’t worry with it. We usually don’t unpack, either.” Mitch unzipped his bag and pulled out his shaving kit. Sam did the same thing. They looked so cute setting up their stuff in the bathroom. She wouldn’t dare tell them that, though. “I vote for a shower,” Sam suggested. “I’m dusty from the stockyard.” “How about sharing the shower with us? It’s a walk-in,” Mitch said. “Sounds good to me. I’m hot and sticky.” “Oh, man. Don’t say that. You just made me hard thinking about that.” Sam sighed. “I swear, everything makes you guys think of sex.” “It’s in our genes.” Mitch already had his shirt off and was pulling off his boots. “Oh, it’s in your jeans all right,” she agreed. She watched the men remove their clothes. Watching them undress was a treat. She could stare at their delectable bodies all night long. When they stood naked staring at her, she realized she was the only one still dressed. She shrugged and began removing her clothes. By the time she was naked, they had the water going and were waiting on her. “If it’s too hot, let me know.” Mitch took her hand as she walked into the ceramic tile shower.

“No, the water is just right.” She took the bar of soap and a bath cloth and started to bathe, but Mitch took it out of her hand. “We’re going to bathe you tonight.” “Okay.” She was all for that. She loved the idea of their hands all over her body. They soaped up their clothes and began to slowly bathe her from neck to toes, and everywhere in between. They didn’t linger over any one place or make any move that was sexual. She frowned when they turned her around and around to rinse off under the warm water. “Would you like me to bathe you two next?” she asked, clearly confused over what was going on. “Not this time. We’ll be finished in just a minute, and then we’ll dry you off. Stay in here until we’re finished so you don’t get chilled.” Sam scrubbed over his chest. Watching them bathe made her ache to put her hands on them. She even went so far as to take a step closer to Mitch, but one look from him had her backing up with a sigh. She had no idea what was going on, but trusted that it would be worth the wait. Finally, they rinsed off and stepped out of the shower. Once they were dry, they summoned her and she stepped out into a large towel with two sets of hands manning it. She was dry in no time. Mitch picked her up and carried her to the bed. Sam rushed forward and pulled back the covers to the foot of the bed. Jackie shivered at the coolness of the sheets against her shower-heated skin. “You’re are the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen,” Sam said as he stood back. Mitch climbed on the bed on one side and Sam on the other. They crawled up the bed and reclined on either side of her. She wondered what they had planned when they both lowered their heads and took a nipple into their mouths. She gasped at the feel of two mouths on her breasts at one time. Dual sucking sensations created a stir in her womb unlike any other she’d ever felt.

“Oh, yes.” She ran her hands through their hair, tugging a little as she did. They nipped and sucked then pulled on her nipples until she thought she would come from that alone. Before she got any closer, though, they stopped and moved up to her shoulder and neck. They licked and kissed their way along her jaw, and each kissed a corner of her mouth. She felt so cherished the way they were treating her. Mitch moved farther down to her belly. He dipped his tongue inside her navel and teased her there before moving farther down her body. When he reached her pelvis, he licked and kissed her all along her mound. Sam tugged on her nipples with his fingers. When she moaned, he tugged harder. He leaned in and took her mouth in a deep kiss that took her breath. At the same time, Mitch licked her slit, delving deep to reach her juices. “Yes, please suck my clit, Mitch. I want to come.” “Not yet, baby.” He teased her with his tongue and then his fingers. He ran his finger all around her clit, but didn’t once touch it. She whined and begged, but he didn’t touch her where she needed it. Sam pulled her head back to his mouth and nipped at her lips when she tried to take control of the kiss. He wasn’t going to be rushed, either. No amount of urging on her part budged him. Mitch was spreading her juices around her cunt with his fingers then licking them up. When he pulled some of it down to her back hole, she stilled. Was she ready for this? He pressed inward with his thumb. She pressed out until he popped inside past her tight ring. “That’s it, baby, take my thumb. I bet you can take more than that, can’t you.” “Mitch. Oh, God, it feels good.” He fucked her with his thumb as he licked her pussy up and down. Every few passes, he licked over her clit. She was so close, but he only kept her on the verge of a climax. He didn’t let her go over.

When he removed his thumb, she felt empty there. Then he was pressing in a thick finger. He fucked her ass with his finger all the way up to the last knuckle. Nerve endings flared to life as he added a second finger. She whimpered at the pinch and burn, but pushed out until he was all the way in. Then he began to move them back and forth inside her, stretching her. “Sam, I think she’s ready. I want her sweet pussy.” Mitch nipped at her ass cheek. “Come on then, let’s change places.” Sam scooted down to the edge of the bed. Mitch climbed up and grabbed a condom off the bedside table and rolled it on after tearing open the package with his teeth. Sam did the same. He looked at her and smiled, running his hand up and down her leg. “Baby, we don’t have to do anything you don’t want to do. We’ll stop anytime you want to. Just tell us.” “I want you inside me. I feel so empty right now.” Jackie needed them to fill her again. “We’ll fill you up, baby. All the way up.” Mitch lay down on the bed toward the edge of the bed with his legs hanging off. “Climb on top of me, Jackie.” Jackie rolled over and crawled on top of him. She positioned herself so that her slit was rubbing the top of Mitch’s stiff cock. She slowly lowered herself on his dick. God, he was so big. She had to come off him and start over again until after several tries, she managed to fully seat him inside of her to the balls. He was so deep, she swore she could feel him in her throat. Sam pressed on her lower back until she leaned over on Mitch. Mitch wrapped his arms around her back and kissed her. “He’s going to lube you up, baby. It’s going to be cold.” Sam spread some sort of lube around her ass that most definitely was cold. Then he squeezed some inside of her. She couldn’t help but squirm. Then he was pushing two fingers into her anus. She pushed

out and he slipped in. It burned, but not as bad as the first time. She tried to concentrate on her breathing. He fucked her with his fingers over and over. When he added the third finger, she nearly called a stop to it, but once they were in, she could handle it. “How are you doing? Do I need to stop?” “No, no, I’m okay. Just hurry, I need to move. I can’t stand being still like this.” She knew her voice sounded strained, but she couldn’t help it. “I think you’re ready, baby. It’s going to be a lot of pressure.” Sam’s voice was soothing despite the obvious strain he was under. When he pulled out with his fingers, he positioned his cock at her back hole and immediately began to push in. Jackie whimpered and pushed out. It burned, dear God, the pinch and burn was almost more than she could take. Finally, he popped in and stilled inside of her to let her get used to him. She breathed through the burn and suddenly she needed him to move. They both needed to move. “Move! Please, someone move.” Sam pulled out as Mitch pushed back in. They alternated moving her between them until there was no pain, no pinch, or burn. There was only pleasure as they moved over nerve endings never stimulated before. She whimpered in need. She needed more. She could only make noises as they slowly, so very slowly, began to increase their pace. Mitch captured her mouth in a soul-searing kiss that took her whimpers and moans into his. Then he whispered in her ear how good she was, how hot she was. “You’re burning me alive. I can’t hold out much longer. Come for us, baby.” Sam began to increase their pace then and licked up her spine before reaching around and pinching her nipple with his fingers. She couldn’t stand it. Pleasure morphed into ecstasy as she screamed out her release. It grew larger and harder with each rub of their big cocks

over sensitive nerve endings. Jackie wasn’t sure she would survive this. It was too intense. When at last it began to ebb, she felt Mitch beneath her come as he shouted out her name. Then with three hard thrusts, Sam called out his climax, filling the condom with his cum. It set off little shocks inside of her that squeezed her muscles around them. They each groaned. “Easy, baby. I’m done for.” Sam warned her. “She’s killed me,” Mitch declared. Jackie felt as if she was floating, and then everything went black.

Chapter Thirteen Sam pulled out and discarded his condom. Then he helped Mitch with Jackie. “Baby, are you okay?” he asked lifting her off of Mitch. She didn’t answer. He cradled her in his arms. “She’s passed out, Sam,” Mitch warned. “Did we hurt her?” Sam began to worry as he carried her into the bathroom to clean her up. Mitch followed him and ran water in the tub. “She’s fine. She was smiling big time after she first came. Then she just sighed and passed out.” “We’ve never had anyone do that before,” Sam said. “Hell, I’ve never come like that before either,” Mitch confessed. “Me either.” Sam stepped into the tub and sat down with Jackie in his arms. He didn’t want her to drown. Mitch began bathing her, gently sweeping the bath cloth over her. Sam whispered in her ear hoping to softly wake her up. He didn’t like that she’d passed out the first time they’d both had sex with her at the same time. Would she be okay with it? Would she accept them as a family? He wanted to wrap her up and take her home now in hopes she would want to be with them forever. When she began to stir, he kissed her earlobe then that area just in front of her ear. “Hey, Jackie. You awake now?” “Hmm?” She drew in a deep breath and let it out on a sigh. “What happened? Why am I in the bathtub?”

“You passed out, honey. You had us worried.” Sam squeezed her against him. “We’re just cleaning you up, baby,” Mitch told her as he ran the cloth gently between her legs. “God, that was so intense.” “We didn’t hurt you, did we?” Sam needed to know that she really was okay with what they’d done. “It burned at first, but it felt so good after just a few seconds. I want to do it again…but later. I really am sleepy. I think I need a nap.” Jackie let her head loll back against his shoulder. “We’ll get you dried off and in bed in just a few seconds,” Mitch told her. Sam let Mitch take her from him and sit her on the counter where he proceeded to dry her off. He got out of the tub and grabbed a towel from the rack to dry off. He watched Jackie the entire time and marveled that they had finally gotten her between them. He just had to find a way to keep her there. He knew she didn’t expect this to last. He and Mitch wanted forever. As soon as Mitch had her dry, he carried her to the king-size bed and laid her in it once Sam had pulled back the covers. They each climbed in beside her and curled around her to rest. She fell asleep almost instantly. Sam couldn’t sleep. He wanted to watch her instead. Mitch was soon snoring lightly beside her with his hand holding hers. Sam snuggled next to her with a hand at her waist. The gentle swell of her abdomen had him aching to stroke it. So did her pussy. He could never get enough of her sweet juices or the way her tight cunt clutched at him when he was inside her. Then there was her ass. Nothing could compare to being in that forbidden channel, knowing that she trusted him enough to take her there. She had no idea of the intimacy he felt when he’d delved into her dark rosette. Somehow, he had to convince her that this was forever.

He wasn’t sure how long it was that she slept, but sometime around eight she woke after having rolled over on top of him during her rest. His brother hadn’t let go of her hand, and it stretched across her side and over his chest. He’d give him hell about that. “Um, hi.” She looked up at him and smiled a shy smile. “Hi yourself.” He smiled down at her then kissed her on the forehead. “What time is it?” She looked over at the clock and groaned. “Never mind. It’s nearly eight. I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to go to sleep on you. I’m sure you’re about to starve.” “No problem. I enjoyed sleeping with you. Did you know you mumble in your sleep?” He was only half teasing. She did say a few words at one point. Nothing he could understand. “Oh, that is so embarrassing.” Her face turned a cute shade of pink. “Hey? What’s going on?” Mitch let go of Jackie’s hand and rolled over on his back. “Jackie just woke up. We’re thinking about food. What about you?” “Steak sounds good to me, but I’m not in the mood to go out tonight. How about we get room service?” Mitch climbed out of bed and disappeared into the bathroom. “How does that sound to you?” Sam asked her. “Fine with me. I don’t exactly want to dress again. I’ll just put on one of your T-shirts. It will cover me to my knees, I think.” “I like that idea, you in my clothes.” Sam kissed her, taking his time as he explored her mouth with his tongue. “You’re blushing again, he said. Then he tapped her nose before sitting up and pulling her with him. “You do that to me all the time.” “What?” “Make me blush. Either you or Mitch do it all the time.”

“You’re just so easy to tease. We don’t mean to embarrass you, Jackie.” He turned serious. “You don’t, really. I need the bathroom,” she said as Mitch walked out. “You can go first. I’ll live.” Sam laughed as she climbed over him and out of the bed. “You didn’t sleep. How did she sleep?” Mitch knew him well. “She slept well. You, on the other hand, snored and played with my chest hair.” He smiled at Mitch’s pained look “No I didn’t. I was holding her hand. I can’t help where she put it. It could have been worse.” “That wouldn’t have happened, little brother.” Sam sat up on the edge of the bed. “I’m not sure it’s a good idea not to take her out to dinner, even though it is late.” “Why? Do you think she expected it? I mean, if she wants to, we can sure go out.” Mitch pulled on a pair of jeans and then snatched up a shirt. “No, but she needs to see how it will be if she stays with us. People are going to stare some, but here, it wouldn’t have been so obvious like it will be at home.” “I say we don’t push it right now. Like you said, it will be worse at home, and that’s soon enough to worry about it.” “We’ll see.” Sam stopped when Jackie walked out of the bathroom and headed straight for her bag. “Thought you were going to wear my T-shirt?” Sam asked as she dug through her bag. “I am, but I want something on my bottom.” “Too bad,” Mitch said. “I would have liked to think about it bare for me to fondle.” “Mitch!” She pushed at his shoulder and laughed. “Hey, can’t help it. I can’t get enough of you, baby.” Mitch chuckled when she frowned at him.

Sam handed her a T-shirt and she slipped it on. She’d been right, it fell to her knees. He hadn’t realized how small she was compared to them. They would have to be more careful around her. He didn’t want to hurt her. That was a possibility as large as he and Mitch were. They read through the room service menu and chose steaks and potatoes, with theirs being medium rare and hers a nice medium. She seemed almost shy around them now. Sam was having none of that. They wanted her comfortable around them. Sam settled her on the love seat, next to Mitch. He brought up some of their old childhood memories. They laughed and reminisced until room service knocked. Neither man had bothered with a shirt, but Sam went to the door and let the waiter in to deliver the meal. Jackie turned and faced Mitch, and Sam cursed to himself that he hadn’t thought about how it would look. To his credit, the waiter didn’t look in her direction, but set up the meal and then left. Sam gave him a good tip and closed the door. “Food’s on, guys.” Sam set up Jackie’s food, sliding the condiments toward her to use first. “It looks delicious,” she told them. “I’m starved.” They settled down to eat, and Sam found himself watching her instead of tending to his own food. He loved the way she sliced her meat and used her left hand to stab it and take it to her mouth. The site of her face when she tasted the steak was amazing. He caught Mitch even watching her. Then, she caught both of them. “What? Why are you staring at me?” “You almost look like you do when you’re having an orgasm,” Sam said “Oh, my God. I can’t believe you just compared my eating with sex.” She giggled. “He’s not kidding. You had this expression on your face when you bit into that steak that had I not known, I would have said you were coming.”

“I’m so glad we aren’t in public with the way you’re talking to me. I’d blush for sure.” She licked her lips then laughed. She pointed her fork at Mitch. “What?” “Why did you stare at me and lick your lips?” “Because you licked yours, and I wanted to taste them.” They finished eating with both men teasing her as she ate. Sam enjoyed seeing her eat and not picking at her food like so many women did. She seemed to enjoy her food. They set the trays outside the door when they were finished. “I’m about ready for bed. Want to watch some TV until we get sleepy?” Sam suggested. “Sounds good to me. We’ll need to get up early in the morning to get there in time for some of the auction we wanted to see,” Sam told her. “I vote for an action movie. I don’t like girlie movies unless they’re comedies.” “A woman after my own heart.” Mitch hugged her, then slapped her on the ass when he let go of her. “Ow, asshole.” “Mitch, she might be a little tender.” “Damn, I’m sorry, Jackie. I wasn’t thinking.” “I’m fine. You’re just going to be in trouble if you think you can spank me anytime you get ready, though.” She winked at him. Sam let out a breath. She seemed to be okay. He peeled off his jeans and climbed into bed with the remote. They watched an action thriller with Matt Damon. He grinned at Mitch. She’d fallen asleep just before the end of the movie. “Can you get the lights? She’s leaning on me. I don’t want to wake her,” Mitch pointed out. “I got them. Settle her in next to you. I’ll set the alarm for in the morning.” Sam rolled out of the bed, trying to keep from shaking it and waking Jackie. He shut off all the lights except the bathroom, and

left the door slightly ajar for her. Then he set the bedside alarm and climbed into bed to snuggle next to her. He enjoyed the feel of her warm body next to his. For a while, he just enjoyed the sensation, and then he let himself fall asleep. **** The auction was wild the next morning. They made it in time to get good seats up close to the arena. Mitch settled Jackie in between them. Sam would handle the actual auction paddle, and they’d confer together over Jackie as each animal was brought out. He watched her and was glad to see that she seemed interested in what was going on around them. Good. They would like it if she would come with them to the auctions when they came. Then it dawned on him. She could be gathering information on auctions concerning her idea of breeding horses. “This is good experience for you in case you do decide to open a horse breeding business.” Mitch squeezed her hand. “Yeah, I was just thinking that. I should have come with you two when you looked at the bulls to see how to judge what you’re looking for.” “It would be different with horses. We’ll go over some things with you when we get back home using ours.” “Great! Thanks, I’d appreciate it.” Then the auction began in earnest. They skipped through most of the first cows that came up, but bid on two young heifers that had looked good to them. They actually won both for about what they’d predicted they would go for. When the first of the bulls they had looked at came up, they were disappointed to have to let it go. The bidding went up too high. “I hate you didn’t get him. He was number one on your list, wasn’t he?”

“Yeah, but there are still a couple of others that we liked,” Sam assured her. Mitch pointed out the pros and cons of the various bulls as they were brought out until the next bull they were looking at came up. The bidding was tight, but Sam went ahead and raised the bidding one last time. Mitch was pleased that they had when no one outbid them. They’d gotten the bull at a reasonable price. Mitch was sure he would be a good breeder. “I’m going to run to the little girl’s room. I’ll be right back.” “I’ll go with you. I’m going to get us some hot dogs and drinks. The next few cows we want are during lunch time, so we’ll be there then.” Mitch stood up with her. “Be back in a few minutes,” he told Sam. He waited outside the women’s restroom for Jackie and noted there appeared to be a line forming. He was glad she’d made it when she had. A few seconds later, she emerged, shaking her hands before wiping them on the sides of her jeans. “No towels?” “Nope,” she said with a roll of her eyes. “Typical at events like this. Too many women and not enough bathrooms. Look at the line.” “Yeah.” He took her now dry hand in his and led her to the concession stand. They ordered hot dogs and colas and carried them back to the stands where Sam was bidding on another cow. He was disappointed in not winning, but he was very happy with the hot dogs. Mitch and Sam ate two while Jackie only ate one. They bid through the next two hours, but finally settled with the two heifers and the bull they’d won. “I’ll go settle up with management on the sales. Why don’t you two go and bring the truck around. We can leave after we load them and check out of the hotel,” Sam said. “Sounds good to me.” Mitch grabbed Jackie’s hand and pulled her along beside him.”

She giggled when Sam pulled her back and gave her a quick kiss. Mitch pulled her back and they headed to where they’d parked the truck and trailer. “Will it be very hard to get them in the trailer?” “The bull, maybe, but the cows are usually pretty docile unless they have babies to protect. These are young heifers with only a single calf each. The calves were sold earlier this year, I’m sure.” “I’d hate to have a baby and it be taken away from me.” “Don’t worry, by the time they are sold, the mommas don’t want nothing to do with them anymore,” Mitch assured her. They pulled out of the lot headed home about four, after half an hour of trying to get the bull in the trailer. As he’d predicted, the two females where easy to herd in. The bull had to be obstinate. Jackie had pointed out that he might go in easier if they didn’t poke him so much, but Sam explained that it didn’t really hurt him, only startled him into moving. “I still wouldn’t like to be poked by a cattle prod.” “Neither would we,” Sam and Mitch said at the same time. Then they laughed at her amused expression. “What?” Mitch asked. “I was just thinking that might be a good way to keep you two under control.”

Chapter Fourteen Jackie was exhausted by the time they made it back and the men had unloaded the animals. She was going to suggest they take her home when they got finished, but it was as if they had figured she would say that because they immediately suggested she take a nice, long soak in the Jacuzzi before going to bed. “You’ll feel better afterward, I promise,” Mitch told her. “Don’t you guys want me to go home now? We’ve been together for nearly two straight days now.” “If I have my way, we’ll be together from now on,” Sam said out of the blue. “Sam, we weren’t going to push her.” Mitch seemed put out with Sam over that. Did that mean he was serious? Were they wanting more than just a short-term relationship? She couldn’t imagine being without them now that she’d been with them, but surely they knew a ménage type lifestyle wouldn’t work. The people in their town wouldn’t accept them. Would she consider it? Jackie thought about it long and hard while she was in the Jacuzzi. The warm, bubbly water lulled her into a happy state of bliss where such things could work. The more she thought about it, the more she thought she would be willing to try it. Maybe in the light of day, and once she was out of the Jacuzzi, she would have second and even third thoughts about it. Right now, they hadn’t really proposed anything like that, so she didn’t need to worry about it—yet.

The men had obviously used another bathroom to shower, and were dressed in jeans and western shirts. She could tell something was up. “We decided to go out to eat. How about Mexican?” Mitch asked. “Um, sure. Let me finish dressing. That sounds good after hot dogs.” She smiled at them. Sam seemed a little quiet to her. He smiled, but it looked strained. They’d had a disagreement, and it had probably been about her. She didn’t want them fighting over her. See, she told herself, it’s not going to work. There will always be one of them unhappy about something the other was doing with her. She sighed and followed them out to the truck minus the trailer. They arrived late enough that they had to wait on a table. Several people that they all knew came up to talk. They seemed fine enough about them all three being together. But they’d been a threesome all during high school, so they might not think there was anything romantic going on. The older ones did look oddly at them, but didn’t say anything or thumb their noses at them. Jackie wasn’t sure what to think. She’d thought a longer term relationship might work earlier, but now she just didn’t know. She had fallen in love with them and wanted to always be near them, but how could she handle what other people thought or said about them? During the meal they discussed the auction and other things about the farm. Then Mitch asked her questions about her thoughts on breeding horses on a small scale. “Are you really interested in it, Jackie?” Mitch asked. “Yes, I would love to. Once I get a better job, I’ll start working on it.” “We may be able to help you out some on it.” Sam took a swig of his beer. “How?”

“We’ll give you some ideas on how we raise cows that will be similar to your raising horses. Maybe let you use Jack’s Run for a stud if you’re interested.” “You’re kidding! That would be awesome, but it will be a little while before I’ll be ready.” “You never know, it might happen sooner than you think,” Mitch told her with a smile. They were just about finished when Derrick Porter and his wife, Angela walked up to their table to chat. She’d known them in high school. “Are you three really all dating each other?” Angela asked. “Um, yeah,” she said. She refused to hide. “That’s wild. A real threesome here in Clifton. I never would have believed it.” “We aren’t really advertising, Angela,” Mitch said a little coldly. “Oh, well. You’re all here together, and there’s already gossip since you were seen together in Billings this weekend. I would think your secret is out.” She wasn’t being catty, just Angela. Jackie figured this was it. How they handled it would determine her decision on making this more long term. She didn’t want them to be uncomfortable every time they went anywhere, or feel the need to defend her if someone made snide remarks like at the bar the other night. “Well, then I guess there’s no need to try and keep it quiet anymore.” Sam reached over and took her hand in his as did Mitch. “We’re serious, not just messing around.” “Good for you,” Derrick said. He nudged his wife. “I think if you can handle it. Go for it.” She smiled and waved good-bye as they walked off. “Are you okay with this, Jackie?” Mitch asked. He looked a little worried. “Yeah, I guess I am. I mean, I know people are going to talk, but they would talk about anything. I was already their conversation over

diner because of my divorce, so now I’ll hold that spot a little longer. What’s the big deal?” She hoped she was as strong as she was portraying herself. Face it, Jackie. You’re totally in love with them and would do anything to stay with them a little longer. “Then now’s as good a time as any,” Sam said. “Maybe when we get back home.” Mitch didn’t look as sure. “Hey, Mitch. If you’re not comfortable with the relationship, now is the time to say something before we get too into it. I understand if the fallout is too much, or if there’s something between you and Sam about me. I don’t want to come between you two. You’re brothers.” “No, that’s not it. I love you, Jackie. Sam does, too. I just didn’t want to push you into something you might not be ready for.” “You love me?” She couldn’t get past that part of the conversation. “Yes, we’ve both loved you for a long time, but you got married on us. We didn’t think we had a chance with you anymore,” Sam told her. “Then you came home and were getting a divorce. It was a second chance for us. We want to make this permanent. You’d marry Sam because he’s the oldest, but the three of us would be married, as far as we’re concerned.” “Wait, you’re asking me to marry you?” She hadn’t dreamed they were that serious. “Will you?” Sam asked. “I–I don’t know what to say. I love you two so much. Can we make it work?” “I think we can,” Sam told her. “Me too. I just think we’ve rushed you.” “Shut up, Mitch,” Sam said. “Shut up, Mitch,” she said with a smile. She launched herself into Sam’s arms and then pulled Mitch out of his chair and kissed him next.

“Yes, I’ll marry you both.” There was a hush over the room. Then several people clapped while others turned their backs and continued eating as if they weren’t even there. Did it matter? Did it hurt? Some, but not enough to stop her from hugging both to her. They would have their trials, but she would do everything she could to make it work. Love could conquer anything. Including doubts and people gossiping. She would have to send Stewart and Julie a thank-you note. “What are you grinning so hard about?” Mitch asked as they rode home. “Oh just that I owe someone a thanks that I would never have thought to speak to again.” “Who?” “My ex-husband, for becoming my ex.”
