and Images are all Powers Awakened and Re-awakened. " Vibration of the god name empowers the word. Divine names are not simply spoken in spiritual exercises, they are intoned or vibrated. Scientists are only now becoming aware of what magicians have known for centuries-that all matter is vibratory energy. There is a physical phenomenon known as hllrmonic resonance, which means that if one object starts to vibrate strongly enough, another object nearby will begin to vibrate or resonate with the first, if both objects share the same natural vibratory rate. The Kabbalist vibrates a god name in order to effect a harmonic resonance between the deity as it exists within his own psyche and as it exists within the greater universe. To vibrate a god name takes practice. The name should be intoned in such a way that the student is able to notice a strong vibration in the chest cavity and even the entire body. Vibration properly performed should cause all of existence to vibrate with the sound. The exercises that follow will aid the student in activating the energies of the Tree of Life through the techniques of visuaHzation and vibration.
