Crimson Promise
The alabaster light from the twin moons above illuminated Victor’s blanched features, bringing up shadows in every contour. The only color on him came from his lips and eyes; both had a blood-red hue. He grinned, revealing large, sharp canines. Attractive as an Undead, he had been even more so as a mortal. The face of a dark angel—that’s what women called him a couple hundred years ago. One night, he met an attractive woman with russet curls that flowed over her shoulders and down her back. She convinced him to go home with her, where she took him into her bed. In the throes of passion, just as he was about to cum, sharp fangs burst from her mouth and she sunk them into his neck, draining him almost to the point of death. She hadn’t, though, and made him a Nosferatu like her, and now, his dark angel looks fit his Undead existence in a darker way. He melded with the deepening shadows of the alley, where he waited as the door to the bar nearby slid open. A lock of hair as black as a raven’s wing fell over his brow as he stared at the glaring light that spilled from the doorway. Every night, he wondered why he had come to this misbegotten hellhole on the other end of the universe. Images of a ravaged Earth would fill his mind in answer, and he resigned himself to his new world, hunting in its darkness for the blood he craved. He was alone—the last vampire of Earth. The tantalizing odor of blood, sprinkled with alcohol, wafted to his nostrils. They flared wide, as he appreciated the heady flavor of the lifeblood, though not the cheap beer that laced it. Two figures almost passed the alley in which he hid. Quickly, he flew from there, leaping upon his intended victims. With a speed faster than his own, another shadow darted into his path and ripped the neck of one man, while clasping the other tight against its front. The man with the torn throat fell to the ground, precious blood spilling and seeping into the dirt.
Starved for blood for a long time now, Victor fell to his knees and fastened his mouth over the opening, sucking out what remained of the red liquid in the body that had gone cold with death. He ignored the other sounds of sucking from above him. With the body now drained, he stood up, tongue out, licking blood from the corners of his mouth. He caught the sight of soft, heather-purple eyes staring into his, belonging to a vision of beauty so alien, and yet, causing his body to harden in places he thought long dead. She lifted her bloody mouth. A long, snake-like tongue, edged on each side with tiny, sharp fangs not unlike the thorns of a rose, slurped back into it. Her arms loosened and the drained form of her prey dropped to the ground. He noticed for the first time that she had no hair on her head and had delicate pointed ears like a cat’s. “What are you?” asked Victor. The alien smiled. “It should be I who asks the question here,” she said in a soft voice. “What are you? All hu-mons that I have hunted and feed from do not drink life from their kind.” He edged nearer. “When a human has been killed by a vampire,” he remarked, “then that human becomes undead, and to survive, must hunt and feast on the blood of living beings.” Suddenly, without warning, she stood before him, a hand edged with sharp fingernails stroking the skin of his face. “Soft, like velvet, and cold like the snow of the Dar-Ghre Mountains to the north,” she said in fascination. He reached out and touched her, finding her flesh warm and full of life. He lingered, enjoying the warmth. It had been so long since he touched another being for anything other than a meal. Once, there had been other vampires on Earth, but in the last thirty years—since the mortals had begun to kill their world by the final destruction of the rain forest—vampires had mysteriously begun to die off, as if with the rainforests gone, they could no longer survive. He had been smart and quickly smuggled himself aboard a spaceship that blasted off for this planet, where the Fargo Mining Company mined for precious minerals. His hand trailed down her swan-like neck to golden globes that appeared to be breasts. They felt soft. Obviously, in that respect, she was like an Earth woman. Victor’s cock hardened even more as he took in her nearly naked body. Nude, except for a long, cherry-red skirt that slit up the sides to her hips, the hem dusted naked toes with sharp claws the same color as her eyes.
Her breathing quickened as his fingers found dark nipples, and between the thumb and middle finger of each hand, he pinched and stroked them into tight little buds. She trembled. He leaned over, his mouth close to one of her pointed ears. “You’re alive, not undead like me.” His sharp fangs caught the bottom of her ear and he nibbled, taking a sharp bite. Instead of screaming from the pain, she moaned and pushed her ear into his mouth. “I want you,” she said with a passion-ridden rasp. “Though you are not my kind, it has been so long since I have felt passion for anything other than blood. I have been alone for so long.” He trembled with desire. Arms circled around her smooth shoulders and he held onto her tightly, as he took off with her into the night air. They flew to the lair he had made the night after he arrived on the planet. Her body slid down his as his feet found purchase on the stone floor of the cave. He grimaced. Not a place to bring a female of any kind, but it protected him from the light of the four suns that hung in the sky during the daytime. He dusted off an overstuffed chair he had stolen from a miner’s cabin, a miner whose life he drained. “Sit.” She sat, perching on the edge of the rose-dappled cushion. Her purple eyes darted around, taking in the meager furnishings and the glow from the lichen that lined the cave’s walls. He crouched down in front of her. “Who are you? Where did you come from?” Her eyes met his. “I come from here.” He frowned, his hands taking hers. His thumb stroked the palm of one of them. “But I read the reports before I came here. No life had been found, and only the remains of some ancient civilization had been discovered, revealing that the inhabitants had been dead for at least a thousand years.” He brought her hands to his cheeks and basked in the warmth that emanated from them. “The inhabitants of that long-dead civilization are nothing more then dust lining their tombs.” She sighed. “Yes, those were my kind, killed off by a deadly virus that our scientists accidentally created. But I did not die. The virus…transformed me.” Blood-red tears welled up in her eyes and tumbled out, streaking down her golden cheeks. “I had been all alone for eons on my world. Then the hu-mons came and I heard the call of their blood. I have been subsisting on it ever since.”
He rose up, drawing her up with him. Front to front, he felt her warmth seeping through his pores and into him. Her scent, a unique alien scent, filled his nostrils. His cock grew unbearably like a rock, and he pressed her tight against him, his hardness seeking the softness between her thighs. “I have to have you,” he said in a harsh whisper. “Now.” Her eyes stared into his, the purple in them darkening to almost black. Victor knew then that she was just as aroused sexually as he was. Her long, fang-ridden tongue snaked out from between her full lips and found his. The fangs scraped them, cutting the cold flesh. The blood from the man he feasted on earlier, and that which filled his veins, beaded up in the cuts and the tongue tasted it. Her breath caught; a hiss of longing issuing from her mouth. “It has been so long,” she said, “that I have been with a male of my species. I do not think that if any were alive today I would be able to mate with one. But you are more like me than my own kind now and…” Her hands clasped around his neck. “Make love to me.” His arms slipped around her and he lifted her up into his arms. “What is your name?” “Name?” “What are you called? I am called Victor.” A very feline smile lit up her lips. “It has been so long since I have thought of myself by what I am called that it feels strange to utter it. Na’lesa. It means ‘song of the night.’” “Na’lesa. I like it. It suits you more now than before. You are a song in the night.” He grinned. “I promise, you will sing for me tonight!” Victor carried her to the back of the cave—where it had grown cooler and damp—where there was none of the glowing lichen on the walls. But his vampire eyes, able to see like a cat’s in the dark, saw her golden skin darkening as her lust rose. Her scent had grown heavier too, permeating the air. His knees felt the bed that hid in the back of the cave, and he deposited her on top of the covers. He stripped her skirt off, revealing smooth, golden skin where a human woman would have a thatch of pubic hair. His lust heightened as he thought of his groin nestling against the smooth skin, his cock deep inside her. He disrobed, flinging articles of clothing to the ground. Climbing onto the bed, he kneeled over the upper part of her body and stared down into her passion-filled eyes. “Your form is most pleasing,” she said in a husky whisper. “Pale as snow, hard as the mountains, and seductive like the cool winds that flow through their canyons.” She half-rose, with her lips meeting the tip of his organ. She kissed the head, the bead of pre-cum shining there flavoring her lips. “Soft like the material
of my slit-skirt, and yet, hard like the fangs in your mouth, ready to pierce me. I think I should fear that part of you more than anything else.” He pushed the head of his cock past her lips and into her mouth, the rest sliding in after. She sucked. Victor moaned; the sensations of her fang-laced tongue both giving pain and pleasure. “I never felt anything…oh yeah, baby, that’s good, so good!” he called out, his voice rising as he threw back his head, his eyes closed in ecstasy. Being a vampire, his hearing and his smelling more acute than when he had been human, he knew when her scent changed, growing sweeter as the sounds of her sucking became louder. The scent filled his nostrils, and his cock stiffened; it was painful as well as pleasurable. Nearly at the edge, he yanked his penis from her soft mouth, and with a roar that echoed in the cave, lay upon her. The head of his cock pushed against her opening, and with restraint, he held off. She whimpered. “Please, take me. It’s been so long, I need it.” His eyes caught hers. He knew that his gleamed red with blood lust as he realized what her odor smelled sweetly of: Blood. “Can we do it?” he asked. “It better be yes, for I am so close that I will fuck you anyway. I need to be inside you.” “Yes, I am sure, yes.” Her words rushed out as a long moan, almost unintelligible. Victor thrust past her feminine folds and entered her. It felt like he finally found his home. Alien warmth surrounded his ice-cold penis, wet, soft, and welcoming. He closed his eyes, feeling everything: her, the cave, his cock, the planet. Everything seemed inter-connected. His nostrils widened as her virusinfected blood sung to him, begging him to sink his fangs into her neck, or more so, into the flesh above her breasts, drinking from there as his cock stroked her vulva. Her laugh filled the air. “Go ahead, take it. It knows you will be my mate as of this moment, Victor. Feed, my love.” He thrust in and out, his cock filling deep into her womb and sliding out to caress her clit with the head, and repeated the movements over and over. His mouth lowered to a spot just above her left breast. The tips of his fangs grazed the flesh there, leaving a scratch. A bead of blood welled up and his tongue flicked out, tasting it. “You taste so good,” he moaned. With a push, his fangs sunk into the flesh, the blood rushing up to meet his mouth. Fang and cock felt the erotic seduction from her blood and body. Unable to stop, the only sounds that vibrated in the air came from his sucking and the wild thrusting from his cock into her pussy. Her moans added to the music, filling the night with an erotic pulse that buzzed between them.
Moans turned in to a scream, and then she came, arching her back off the sweat-covered sheets and blankets. Feeling the muscles clenching his organ in a tight vise grip, Victor came not long after, spilling cold cum into her. He shuddered, and stilled, lying on her still shuddering form. His tongue slipped out, and using his saliva, closed the wounds above her breast. He rose up onto his elbows and smiled down at her. “I love you. I know it seems too soon to say that, but drinking your blood has revealed to me everything about you—before and after the change. You and I are meant to be together. The blood knows.” Victor slipped off the bed, and he held his hand out to help her up. Her hand slipped into his and he pulled her off the bed, her body fitting into the niche of his. He caressed her cheek, his hand continuing down to her neck, and from there, to her breasts. He lingered there. She kissed him. “I love you, too. No longer alone, and already starting a new race.” She placed his hand on her belly. He frowned. “But there has been no known account of an Earth vampire siring, other than killing and then changing a living person. Anyway, even if it were possible, it’s too soon to know.” She smiled. “Ah, but drinking my blood has transformed you as it did to me eons ago. And I sensed the new life growing inside me the moment your seed took hold.” Na’lesa slipped out of his arms and stretched. “I am hungry. Our child needs nourishment to help it develop and strengthen in my womb.” Victor kissed her lips, nuzzling the softness. “All that fucking has made me hungry, too.” He laughed. “Let’s go hunting.” He dressed as she wrapped her skirt around her hips. Hand in hand, they strolled to the cave entrance and paused there for a moment, staring up at the twin moons. The light from the moons washed over them, painting both in harlequin shadows and light. Victor raised Na’lesa’s hand to his lips and kissed it. “Hunt, my love, and then come back here for more delights in my arms. Eternity has never been more full of crimson promise.” They walked out of the cave and merged with the shadows of the alien landscape, becoming one with the night.
