Методические указания к выполнению лабораторных работ разработаны в соответствии с государственными образовательными стандартами высшего профессионального образования. Настоящее издание по дисциплине «Общая и неорганическая химия» предназначено для студентов 1 курса специальности 280202.65. В методических указаниях приведены краткие теоретические сведения по темам лабораторных работ, описания экспериментов, планы составления отчетов. Рассмотрено на заседании кафедры химии и охраны окружающей среды 25 мая 2006 г., одобрено методической комиссией факультета технологии веществ и материалов 9 июня 2006 г. 1. ОБЩИЕ УКАЗАНИЯ Лабораторный практикум является одним из этапов изучения учебной дисциплины "Общая и неорганическая химия". Лабораторный практикум для студентов-экологов включает лабораторные работы по следующим темам учебной программы: I семестр – «Электролитическая диссоциация. Ионные реакции. Произведение растворимости», «рН-метрия. Гидролиз солей», «Комплексные соединения», «Качественный анализ катионов», II семестр – «Химическая кинетика и равновесие», «Окислительно-восстановительные реакции», «Химические свойства соединений s-, p-элементов», «Химические свойства соединений d-элементов». Подготовка к каждой лабораторной работе подразумевает изучение теоретического материала по соответствующей теме. Основные теоретические положения каждой темы приведены в настоящей брошюре. Перед выполнением экспериментальной части работы следует, прежде всего, изучить содержание «Инструкции по технике безопасности и правилам поведения студентов в лаборатории химии» и взять на себя обязательства ей неукоснительно следовать, о чем делается соответствующая запись в «Журнале учета прохождения студентами инструктажа по технике безопасности». Задания на лабораторную работу (как правило, индивидуальные) выдаются преподавателем, проводящим занятия. Прежде чем выполнять опыт, необходимо внимательно прочитать его описание в «Методических указаниях», а в случае необходимости обратиться за разъяснениями или уточнениями к преподавателю или дежурному лаборанту. После выполнения экспериментальной части необходимо оформить отчет. В конце занятия преподаватель проверяет отчет и подписывает его.

молекулярных уравнений реакций, протекающих в растворах электролитов. Изучение направления протекания ионных реакций. Изучение условий выпадения и взаимопревращений осадков электролитов.
2. ТЕОРЕТИЧЕСКИЕ ОСНОВЫ Электролитическая диссоциация Электролитами называются вещества, которые при растворении в полярных растворителях (воде, спиртах и т. п.) или при расплавлении полностью или частично распадаются на ионы (положительно и отрицательно заряженные частицы). Растворы или расплавы электролитов способны проводить электрический ток, но в отличие от электронных проводников (проводников первого рода), являются ионными проводниками (проводниками второго рода). Электролитической диссоциацией называется процесс распада молекул полярных веществ или ионных кристаллов на ионы. Причиной электролитической диссоциации является взаимодействие молекул электролита с полярными молекулами растворителя. При этом связи между атомами в молекулах или ионами в кристаллах электролитов ослабляются настолько, что происходит их распад на ионы. Ионы в растворах существуют в сольватированных состояниях, т. е. окружены сольватной оболочкой. Сольватацией называется взаимодействие ионов электролита с молекулами растворителя. В случае, когда рас5
творитель – вода, ионы существуют в гидратированных состояниях (окружены гидратной оболочкой, т. е. молекулами воды). Способность к электролитической диссоциации зависит не только от природы электролита, но и от природы растворителя. Процесс электролитической диссоциации в общем виде записывают как уравнение обратимой химической реакции

В– – отрицательно заряженные ионы (анионы). Степень диссоциации
Для количественной оценки электролитической диссоциации вводится величина степени диссоциации а, представляющей собой отношение числа распавшихся на ионы молекул к общему числу молекул вещества: α =
число продиссоциировавших молекул . общее число молекул
Величина степени диссоциации выражается в процентах или долях единицы. С разбавлением раствора степень диссоциации электролита увеличивается. По величине степени диссоциации все электролиты условно делятся на сильные и слабые. Характерной особенностью сильных электролитов является их полная необратимая электролитическая диссоциация в относительно разбавленных растворах, значения α ≈ 1 (100 %). Величина α зависит от природы растворителя и растворенного вещества, концентрации раствора, температуры.

К сильным электролитам относятся: а) все соли (кроме Fe(NCS)3, HgCl2); б) сильные кислоты -HBr, HBrO3, HBrO4, HCl, HClO3, HClO4, H2Cr2O7, HI, HIO3, HMnO4, HNCS, HNO3, HReO4, H2SO4, H2SeO4, HTcO4; кроме того, кислоты H2CrO4, H4P2O7 и H2S2O6 являются сильными по первой ступени диссоциации, то есть, при отрыве первого иона H+; в) сильные основания (щелочи) – Ba(OH)2, Ca(OH)2, CsOH, FrOH, KOH, LiOH, NaOH, Ra(OH)2, RbOH, Sr(OH)2, TlOH.
